Alina didn't see most of the town after that night at the ball she had gotten letter after letter asking about the funds being withdrew.
She ignored them all laughing when she saw the daily prophet headline.

She looks at Harry, who is eating his food, splashing it all over his clothes, some getting on her face.
She flips the page wincing when she sees Sirius's mugshot before seeing a picture of Regulus Black underneath pronouncing his death.
She almost gasped before remembering Regulus died a few months before Harry, she had been told by Andromeda, who found out from Narcissa.
So why was the ministry only just being made aware.
It was when she saw a regal owl heading towards the manor sitting in the window.
It had the monster's crest on the letter. She allowed her fingers to trail across the envelope addressed to her.
She opened it half, expecting it to jump out at her.
It didn't.
Dear Lady Potter,
It has come to my attention that you have taken funding from Hogwarts and have convinced others to do the same.
Might I remind you how much this would affect the child and the ministry. The children who want to learn magic and you have just taken that away from them.
I must advise if this is about Sirius Black. I am sure the ministry can fully compensate you and the families involved. However, Sirius Black will remain in prison due to the murder of James and Lily Potter.
If you wanted this changed Lady Potter, you do best to remember you were not at the trial and thus can not interve. If the ministry has reason to believe you withdrew this money due to Sirius Black. The Potters and those affiliated will no longer hold a seat in the ministry.

Alina scoffed. She knew this play. They were lying. There was no way to be kicked off the board unless it was a unanimous vote.
She also knew that board members could get involved in cases they were not there for so long as they asked for the transcript. She had asked Amelia Bones for it, but she didn't have it as she had been on sick leave and tried looking for it however couldn't so I had to give permission in writing.
That was also how Alina had come to realise the Minster was a lying prick who had never given Sirius and trial, and if he didn't, it was off the record, meaning it was biased and unfair.
Alina quickly scribbled down a letter, Pandora needed to look after Harry as she had a trial to arrange.
