Chapter 16- Georgie's POV

I closed my eyes and bit back a small sigh after my mate left, relaxing slightly. "Thank, Goddess," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. I shifted on my bed before I turned to my side.

My heart ached a little while I waited for something to happen, but nothing did. "Oh, Goddess," I said my voice barely above a whisper before I turned to my other side, biting back another groan. "What is going on with this?"

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath before I released it with a small whoosh, deciding that I should try to get some sleep and "forget" about everything for a while.

I'm pregnant...

I rubbed my stomach and sighed, not knowing what I wanted to do with it or with Ash.

There was a small knock on my door, and I opened my eyes and paused, not knowing who was there and not knowing if I wanted to see anyone.

"Why did you knock?" one of the twins asked, their voice barely above a whisper, and I couldn't help but breathe a small sigh of relief.

Thank Goddess...

"That's our sister's room. You don't need to knock on the door."

"Ssssshhhhh," the other twin said. "I still knocked on the door because I wanted to, Bethany. We still have to make sure that we are not seen or heard by anyone, and that means her, too." The twin paused. "I also wanted to make sure that she wasn't asleep."

"I am not you two," I said, my voice matching theirs, and they instantly shut up and looked at the door. "Now, are you two going to come into the room, or are you going to stay out there and fight?"

"We're coming in," the twins said in unison before they pushed open the door and snuck their way in and closed the door behind them with a soft click.

I opened my eyes to stare at them and offered them a tight smile, earning a tired smile from them both. "Come here," I said when they stopped at the door and didn't move further into the room. "Bennie, did you get your teeth brushed, or do you still have a smelly potty mouth?"

The twins looked at each other and shrugged before they made their way to my side, not saying a word.

"Well?" I asked and raised an eyebrow in question. "Do you?"

"No," Benjamin said and shook his head. "I do not have a smelly potty mouth. My breath and teeth are all clean and fresh. Do you want to smell?"

I wrinkled my nose and pursed my lips in annoyance and disgust. "No," I said and shook my head. "I do not want to smell your breath because there is a chance that you didn't brush your teeth, and it will still smell poopy."

He scoffed and rolled his eyes, scowling. "I did," he said. "Bethie can vouch for me." He pointed at his sister, and my sister's eyes grew wide and filled with innocence.

I bit back a small snort and shook my head. "Very funny," I said dryly. "Are you two going to get onto the bed, or are you two just going to stand there?"

"We're coming," the twins said in unison and got into bed, being careful of me. They laid down on each side of me and closed their eyes, both sighing with relief and happiness.

I bit back a small snort and shook my head while I pulled them to my sides. "Are you two happy that you are here?" I asked, and they nodded in confirmation.

"Yes," they said in unison. "Thank you."

I shook my head and bit back a small chuckle. I closed my eyes and sighed, relaxing a little more because I knew that they were safe. "How did you two get away from Rob and Max?" I asked and opened my eyes while I looked at them with a raised eyebrow. "Are they going to be bursting through the door anytime soon?"
