"So," my father said and cleared his throat after we had gotten comfortable in my office. He placed his arms on my desk and leaned forward, staring at us with a cold look on his face. "What have you three been hiding from us?"

Max, Drew, and Rob looked at each other before they looked at him, their faces blank. They didn't say a word, and I could tell that they were nervous and didn't want whatever they said to get back to Georgie.

"Answer me," my father said with a small growl in his voice. He bared his teeth and narrowed his eyes, and they instantly bowed their heads in respect. "What do you three know?"

Rob cleared his throat and shifted in his seat, and we looked at him. "I know that her father abuses her," he said, his voice barely above a whisper while he looked at my father, and the other two nodded in agreement. "She gets beaten by him a lot. What happened a few days ago wasn't a one off occurrence."

"And why have you not told us?" he asked and raised an eyebrow in question. He looked at Drew. "Do you know about this as well?"

Drew hesitated before he slowly nodded, not looking at him. "Yes, Alpha," he confirmed softly. "And the reason why we haven't told you is because Georgie has asked us not to. She didn't command us to not tell you, but she did ask."

"And how did she command you?" my father asked and raised an eyebrow in question. "She is not your Alpha." He looked at me before he looked at them, pressing his lips into a thin line.

Nor was she your Luna...

Drew pressed his lips into a thin line and set his jaw. He slowly blinked and looked at me before he looked at my father, not saying a word.

My father scowled and narrowed his eyes, studying Drew. "Do you know?" he asked, his voice turning dark and filled with warning as if he was worried that Drew would lie to him.

"He does," I said, answering for Drew with a slight nod of my head, and my father looked at me. I cleared my throat and shifted in my seat. "They all do." I paused and cleared my throat again. "They all know that she is my mate."

My father narrowed his eyes and scowled, and I could tell that he didn't like the idea of them knowing that Georgie was my mate. "Explain." He looked at Drew when he said.

"Rob and I have been in the same class as your daughter and Georgie," Drew replied softly. "We saw the look on her face when she found out that Alpha Ashlyn was her mate."

"And Alpha Ashlyn told Jen and I when she first found out," Max said, earning a slight glance from his brother, which he ignored.

My father set his jaw and narrowed his eyes while he looked at me. "And why did you tell them?" he asked coldly, folding his arms across his chest while he looked at both Max and Jen before he looked at me.

"Because they are my Beta Male and Female," I replied tersely, and my father growled and narrowed his eyes further. "They have the right to know."

"Hmph." My father pressed his lips into a thin line but didn't say an actual word. He looked between the five of us, and I had a feeling that he didn't like all of them knowing that she was my mate.

Max cleared his throat and shifted in his seat, his cheeks turning red when we turned our attention to him. "Do you not like us knowing that Georgie is the young Alpha's mate, Alpha?" he asked and raised an eyebrow in question.

My father pressed his lips into a thinner line and narrowed his eyes. He didn't say a word while he looked at him before he looked at me, and I pressed my lips into a thin line while I looked at him, waiting to see what he had to say.
