---When Ruhi looked back, she realized that it was one of her college mates who had said this. She was watching them attentively, and Ruhi’s eyes moved towards Aalia, who was looking at her in a very surprised manner. Ruhi was also taken aback seeing her.
Another girl spoke first to Ruhi and then to Aalia, "Look at her, guys. Do you have any shame? You didn’t even tell your friend that you got married. And Aalia, you are so nice, but look what she did!"
Aalia was furious, clenching her fists tightly. Ruhi was already shattered by Atharva’s words. She looked at Aalia and said, "I had no intention of hurting you. My marriage happened so suddenly that I didn’t have time."
Aalia crossed her arms over her chest and replied, "Oh really? How long has it been since your marriage that you didn’t even get five minutes to tell me?"
Ruhi looked down, and another girl interjected, "What can she say? This is all she does. Hurts others' feelings. But God did right by giving her a husband who doesn’t even want to look at her."
Ruhi lifted her head and looked at Aalia. Aalia responded, "You know what I feel? When I found out just now that my friend got married..."
Ruhi joined her hands in apology and said, "I’m really sorry, but I have to go, please."
As tears welled up in her eyes, they all looked at her with disgust. Aalia couldn’t even digest the fact that Ruhi had married Atharva.
Ruhi was about to leave when the waiter said, "Excuse me, ma’am, the bill is still unpaid."
Ruhi looked at the waiter, grabbed the bill, and saw that it was too high. She didn’t have that much money and got scared, wondering what she would do now.
She looked at her college mates, and they smirked at her. "What happened? Don’t have the money? Oh God, life is being cruel to her," Aalia said sarcastically, and Ruhi looked at the bill again. Then another waiter came and said, "I’m sorry, ma’am, this bill isn’t yours. It belongs to table No. 17."
Aalia choked because it was those who were sitting at that table. The waiter continued, "Ma’am, your bill has already been paid. I’m sorry for my mistake."
Without saying anything, Ruhi ran out of the restaurant, starting to sob. This was too much for her.
On the other hand, Atharva was driving recklessly. When he reached the office, Aditya was waiting for him, and Rohan had his head hanging low.
