Raziel was so close...He just needed to climb over the walls...

"Your Highness..." Sounded a familiar voice as a strong hand grabs his shoulder.

Raziel hesitantly turns around, only to catch a whisp of white hair in his vision.

Of course...It's Yoo Dae-jung...

"Where do you think you're going?" The royal guard asks lowly.

It appears that once again, Raziel has been caught trying to sneak out of the palace.

"I...uhm...Nowhere..?" Raziel says unconvincingly, fidgeting with his fingers.

Dae-jung guard doesn't believe him for a second.

"Don't lie to me..." He says lowly, with no hint of emotion...

He lets go of Raziel's shoulder and gestures to the top of the walls with his hand.

"You were trying to sneak out, weren't you?"

"No! I mean, no, why on earth would I do such a thing when I have tried...so many times before..." Raziel says rhetorically.

A silent moment of tension passes as the sound of the wind blows past them both.

Dae-jung's gaze is cold and unfeeling as his hand falls to his side.

"I see..." He murmurs.

He knows this isn't the first time Raziel's tried sneaking out.

He slowly takes a step towards the wall, his footsteps sounding loud on the stone ground.

He glances back at Raziel with a stare that could kill.

Raziel gulps.

"You know what? Maybe I'll just go back to my room-" He says hurriedly.

Dae-jung raises a hand to stop him from leaving.

"Oh no, you most certainly are not," He says coldly.

His stare is unrelenting.

"You are under my care right now...and I cannot let you do anything dangerous..."

He takes another step closer to the wall, a hand wrapping around Raziel's arm.

"Especially...not without my supervision," He finishes.

"Oh come on Yoo..." Raziel whines.

Dae-jung continues to glare at him intensely.

"We both know the risks of you doing this by yourself, and yet you continue to attempt escaping...What's the real reason you do all this?" He asks sharply.

He crosses his arms and leans against the wall, a frown spreading across his face.

"Yeah-yeah-yeah, I know..." Raziel says, avoiding the question.

"Then answer the damn question! Tell me..." The guard says with his cold mask, however, there's an underlying desperation in his voice.

He's worried about something...and he genuinely wants to know what's troubling Raziel...

"Look, it's getting late, and I would rather not bother you more than I already have, okay? So how about we say good night and let me go to bed?" Raziel tries to convince.

Dae-jung's mask of stoicism falters for a moment as he struggles to keep his emotions in check.

He hesitates for a moment, trying to fight the urge to keep pushing.
