The soft afternoon sunlight filtered through the sheer curtains of Saumya's childhood bedroom,  casting a warm glow across the room where Saumya stood, admiring herself in the mirror. She smoothed down the soft folds of the new saree that her boyfriend, Shubman, had brought her. Its gentle green hues complemented her dusky complexion perfectly, making her feel like a vision of elegance.

Shubman lounged on the bed, his shirt unbuttoned halfway, revealing a hint of his toned chest. His eyes drank in the sight of Saumya, his gaze lingering on her graceful form as she adjusted the pleats of her saree. She wore oxidized jhumkas that danced with every movement, a matching bracelet adorning her wrist. The watch ticked softly on her delicate wrist, and the pendant he had chosen for her rested against her collarbone.

Saumya turned to look at Shubman, a shy smile playing on her lips as she caught his gaze. "How do I look?" she asked, her voice soft with anticipation.

Shubman's breath caught in his throat as he took in the sight of her. "You look absolutely stunning," he replied, his voice husky with desire. "But you know what would make you look even more beautiful?"

Saumya raised an eyebrow, her cheeks flushing slightly. "What?" she asked, her heart racing.

Shubman closed the distance between them in a few quick strides, pulling her into his arms with a hungry look in his eyes. "Me," he whispered, his lips brushing against her ear. "I just want to fuck you senseless right now."

Saumya's breath hitched at his bold declaration, her heart racing with anticipation. But before she could fully comprehend his words, Shubman gently tugged at her wrist, pulling her towards him. She stumbled slightly, her hands finding purchase on his shoulders as she stood before him, their bodies inches apart.

Their intimate moment was interrupted by the creak of the door opening, and Saumya's heart skipped a beat as she realized they were no longer alone. Turning towards the doorway, her eyes widened in shock as she saw her parents standing there, their expressions a mix of surprise and disbelief.

"Saumya, what's going on here?" her mother asked, her voice tinged with concern as she took in the sight before her.

Saumya's mind raced, her cheeks burning with embarrassment as she struggled to find the right words. "Uh, Mom, Dad, I can explain..." she stammered, her gaze flickering nervously between her parents and Shubman.

Shubman, ever the composed one, rose to his feet, a charming smile gracing his lips as he approached Saumya's parents. "Uncle, Aunty I apologize for the surprise," he began, his tone polite yet confident. "Saumya and I have been dating for some time now, and we didn't want to keep it a secret from you any longer."

Saumya's parents exchanged a surprised glance, their initial shock giving way to understanding as they processed Shubman's words. "Dating?" her father echoed, a bemused smile tugging at his lips. "Well, I'll be damned. Who would've thought our little Saumya would be all grown up and in love?"

Saumya felt a wave of relief wash over her at her parents' surprisingly positive reaction. She stepped forward, taking Shubman's hand in hers as she met her parents' gaze with newfound confidence. "I love him, Mom, Dad," she confessed, her voice steady and sincere. "And I hope you can accept us, just as we are."
