I returned to the hall with a flurry of questions swirling in my mind. Seeing Advika in tears shattered me, and witnessing her panic left me shaken.

She kept muttering, insisting on her innocence amid the chaos. Her smile, once so radiant, had vanished because of that woman, leaving me puzzled and unable to find a solution.

Why was Advika triggered? What caused the woman to speak poorly of her? What happened before we arrived in the hall? These questions consumed my thoughts until I bumped into Shravani and Avinash.

"Mom is looking for you," Shravani informed me, and I headed to find my mom and Dadi sitting on a couch.

"Jii, Maa?" I called out.

"Come here, Yuvraj." Dadi asked and I went near, taking a seat.

"Kidhar the tum?" Dadi inquired.
[Where were you?]

"Jii mai bas yahi." I answered.
[I had just been nearby.]

"Aur woh ladki?"
[And that girl?]

"Dadi, I already said that I spotted her and went to call her because ceremony was approaching."

"Bhaiya, being frank and reaching out to a girl?" Avinash teased, earning a glare from me.

"Mujhe toh yeh parivaar hi ajeeb lagta hai. Bas Avinash ki shaadi hojaye theek se," Dadi commented and I silently nodded.
[This family is strange. Let Avinash's wedding go smoothly,]

As we bid farewell to our guests and returned home, Advika's image lingered in my mind. Every detail about her felt captivating and addictive.

I wanted to stay there with her, but then Yash came and took her back. I couldn't complain though, funny how I thought he was her fling whereas they were siblings.

Later that night, I changed into comfortable attire and couldn't help but smile as I thought about her. Knowing that tonight must have been tough for her, I vowed to protect her from any harm.
