Chapter - 4 💌

"What are you doing here?" Shalini asked.

Neil said with stern voice, "Leave her!"

Aryaan smirked and said, "What if I don't?"

"Then". Neil punches Aryaan in the face.

"Owww!!!" Aryaan groaned in pain.

Shalini was shocked to see this attitude of Neil.

Ved comes with a hurry and stops Neil.

"Broo stop!!!! Are you out of your mind??" Ved shouted.

Teacher comes between them. "Neil and Aryaan go to the principal's office now!!!!"

Neil looks at Shalini hopes that she will say something.

"She's just like others" Neil scoffs.

"Ma'am wait...." Shalini speaks suddenly.

All the attention went to Shalini now.

Teacher said politely, "Yes Shalini?"

"Ma'am there's no mistake of Neil... Aryaan held my hand in a uncomfortable way... and I was trying to leave but his grip was it was too strong.. At that time Neil came and warned him but he didn't listen that's why he punched him" Shalini said.

"But that doesn't mean he would hurt him. It's called violence"

Shalini said politely, "Ma'am I know... both deserve punishment... but Aryaan deserve more because he was harassing a girl openly.. No body came only Neil came I think this is enough reason to reduce his punishment"

"You're right Shalini. Aryaan go to principal's office and Neil stay here. Don't think you're not getting any punishment but right now I'm not giving and Shalini I need you when Aryaan's parents will be called" Teacher said.

Aryaan protests, "But ma'am!!!!"

"You're still here. Go to the room now!!!"

Aryaan glared at Shalini and Neil and leaves the room.

Teacher claps and said , "We will continue this class later on and Shalini I'm really proud of you! They way you protested"

Shalini smiles "Ma'am it's nothing. I'm a student and I can't see another student getting punishment without any reason... So it's just a responsibility"

"I'm proud of you" Teacher said

Everybody claps just to give a tribute to Shalini for her bravery.

"Girl you slayed Yarr!!!" Reet said excitedly.

"Areeee I said it's just a responsibility"

Reet replied, "Still!! No student ever dared to stand against Aryaan because his father is rich"

"Rich spoiled brat" Shalini rolled her eyes. 

"Exactly!!!!!" Reet nodded.

Suddenly few students gathered around Shalini and wanted to say Hii.

"Girl you're amazing!!!!"

"Finally we got someone who is protesting"

Reet said proudly, "She's my bestie"

Shalini said, "But you haven't asked me to be your best friend"

"Oh shit!!"

"Sooo Shalini Arora will you be my forever bestie??? Pretty please" Reet made puppy doll eyes.

Shalini laughs, "Reet! you're sounding like you're proposing me"

"Whatever just answer the question"

"Of course I'll become your best friend!!! In fact I'm very lucky that I met you first in this school"

"Awww" Reet hugs her.

Shalini hugs back and said "Best friends"

Reet replied, "Forever!!!!"

In all these unknown faces Shalini was waiting for that familiar face.... that familiar person's thank you... but he was nowhere in that place.

<<<SHALINI'S P.O.V>>>

Will not he come? He is really weird. I took a stand for him but he just disappeared..... but I'll surely talk with him and I'll made him say thank you to me.. otherwise not Shalini arora.

Shalini mischievously smiles.
