Chapter 1

Agatha

I wake up with my hair in my face, the room dark and my things thrown around, I haven't cleaned it since I started working, it's really hard to keep the house tidy when you're not in it. I brush the hair out of my face as I get up and go to the bathroom door, as soon as I enter I look at my cat sleeping in the bathtub, not even my cat wants me to get ready for work, but I don't have much of a choice, either I get ready or I lose my job, so I go into the shower stall and take a quick shower, then I get dressed and look at myself in the mirror

I look ridiculous in this uniform.

I say this before I grab my bag and leave, I haven't been preparing my lunches anymore, I'm just leaving it to see what happens. I get into the uber I ordered, I haven't said a word since I got in the car, I don't want to seem rude so I wish him a good day as I get out of the car.

And here we are, in the building where I work security, I don't enjoy this job like I used to. I enter the building and come across a woman shouting at the attendant, I go to her and try to move her away from the attendant, as soon as she walks away I don't let her say the reason for all that, I just push her out of the building and tell her that she is banned from the building. I walk past the attendant without caring in the slightest about what happened a second ago.

I enter the first door to clock out for the day, as soon as I finish I go back to the building's door and walk around the place, there are many other security guards present but I'm not friends with any of them, I honestly didn't want to be here, I wanted to be in my bed sleeping, but I have to take care of the safest building in the world, to earn R$2,012 per month, it seems like a lot, but the amount of risk no longer covers the entire amount.
