I forced myself up the escalator to another portal this time purple with a sign above it saying Portal Control Centre. Went through the portal and found two vacant seats and a huge control panel in front of me. On top of the control panel was a Manual for controlling portals. I looked through the contents and found what I was looking for so I turned to delete portals on page 2042. There were seven options which were: Erase Code Blue which erased all blue portals, Erase Code Red which deleted all Blue Portals, Erase Code Green which deleted all green portals, Erase Code Purple which erased all purple portals, Erase Code Yellow and self destruct which deleted all portals.
It also said that if the portal that was deleted was the last portal that you went through then your souls are disintegrated. I had passed through a purple portal last so I couldn’t delete that. I decided to combine self destruct with Erase Code Purple. It was good because all of the souls would be disintegrated but the body wouldn’t.
I would then create another portal to let the souls come back to their bodies All I had to do was pull the brown and purple clutch at the same time then press the green GO! button. BEEP. WHOOSH!! I heard a bang and a sizzling noise like sausages on a barbeque. I quickly made another portal.
I went out the portal and down the escalator and saw red piles of ash with human bodies in them. I knelt down next to one and ran my hand through the ash and it was an extraordinary feeling. I could feel it the tiniest bit but at the same time it wasn't there.
All the souls were coming through the portals and into the bodies but the bodies stayed unconscious as the soul’s regained power inside their beloved bodies. When the souls entered the bodies all the cuts and bruises faded away without even leaving a scar.
I heard footsteps somewhere in the room and I presumed it was just a human so I ignored it and started looking for Jane through the piles of ashes.
