Chris Young is my uncle

Finally Home

I finally got to go home from being in the hospital. I was so drained still from what happened.
"Hey Hannah how are you feeling?" He asked.
"I feel okay. I still feel terrible and just want to go home and sleep and I still miss my mommy and daddy." I said with a tear in my eye.
"I know you do sweetie. They're looking down on you, and there in your heart."
I walked into his house and walked up to my room and laid in bed because that's the first thing I wanted to do.
"Do you want anything to eat?" He asked.
"No I'm okay just really tired."
"Okay take a nap and when you wake up I'll be here."
I fell asleep.

(Later that day)

I was dreaming about my mom and dad still being alive and us being one happy family. I woke up then I started crying.
"Uncle Chris??" I yelled.
"Yeah. What's wrong honey?"
"I had a dream that mommy and daddy were still alive, but when I woke up they were not here. I miss them so much." I start to cry more.
"I do too Hannah. I really do. Come here and let me hold you." He said hugging on me trying to get me to calm down.
I was thinking to myself on how thankful I was to have Uncle Chris in my life. I don't know where I would be without him. He is truly an amazing uncle.
"Hey Uncle Chris I love you...with all my heart..."
"I love you too baby girl. With all my heart."
I laid back down and went back to sleep for the night.

(The next day)

I woke up and walked into Uncle Chris's room and he wasn't there...
"Uncle Chris where are you...?!?" I yelled.
He didn't answer and I started freaking out. I was thinking where would he be at.
"Hannah I'm right here!" He said
"Where were you at?" I asked.
"I was outside. Your stupid step father decided to show up and fight me, so I called the cops and he got arrested. He punched me in my jaw two times."
"Oh my gosh, are you okay?"
"Yes I am honey I promise. He won't be bothering you again." He said.
"I'm glad, because I'm sick of him treating me the way he did." I said tearing up again.
"I know. He's not gonna be doing that anymore. I have you and I'll always have your back. I love you!"
"I love you too Uncle Chris. I don't know where I would right now if I didn't have you."
He gave me one of his warm hugs and whispered in my ear, "I love you baby girl! You're the center of my world."
He took me into the kitchen and made me pancakes and hash browns. He made me smile from ear to ear. I was so thankful for him to be in my life.
