Jale hadn't been replying much over the remainder of the weekend and then missed school Monday and Tuesday she was at least replying to my texts though. I hope she is feeling better today, I mean its Wednesday so she has been sick for a few days now. Plus I was excited after being cleared from my ankle issue, Coach has had me playing and I am going to be playing on friday at our home game. I wanted to ask Jale if she was going to be able to come and watch. It sounds so dumb when I say it but being around her is just so nice. Knowing that she would be there in the stands watching would mean a lot.

There is something about her that makes me know there is more than what she says to me. She talks to me but I don't think I have ever seen her talk to anyone else at our school. I hear some of the things that people say about her but honestly its not a lot just that she was new at the end of last year, which I knew already and that she is really quiet. So all in all nothing that is new.

Arriving at school I parked my car in the student lot and greeted a couple of the soccer guys on my way inside. I  already had my books for my first class so I walked towards Jale's locker hoping I would see her today. Walking through the halls I passed a couple of the cheerleaders who for some reason never got the message that I wasn't interested in them. So without fail they would just have to try and flirt with me when I was near, it has to be because I am a starter on our soccer team. I am not saying they weren't pretty or even that they aren't my type. Because they are really, Jale is the first girl I have even been friends with outside of the cheerleader type that I was normally to date.

I don't know what it is there is just something about her that draws me in. She never cares to tell me what she thinks or ask me things, she does it in her way. The way when I look in her eyes the few times I am actually able to, I feel like everything else just fades away. Her hair caught me off guard at first but it suits her so well, for how she is shy and thinks she fades to the back it helps make sure that she doesn't, it reminds people that she is there. The only part that concerns me is how thin I know she has to be. Her cake eating at the bakery on saturday didn't help put my worries at ease any either. I think I saw her fully take 2 bites she at least drank her tea, but I definitely have started to make a mental note to keep an eye on her eating and try to come up with an appropriate way to bring it up that she doesn't just brush me off again. She is smart and knows how to think on her feet.

I breath a sigh of relief when I make it closer to the area that her locker is in and catch sight of a head of blue. She is trying to jam her board into the space and it does not look like she is winning between her and the space in the locker. Coming up behind her I watch another couple of seconds before I decide to make myself known.

"So who will come out the victor in this battle?"

She startles a bit and turns to look at me letting a puff of air out to blow her bangs from in front of her eyes. Rolls her eyes before turning back to her task.

"Well I would be winning if I could fit it beside my dumb calculus book."

"You know if you would just ask you could put it in my locker, I have a bigger one because of playing sports, I have to have space for my bag." I offer her , hoping she will take me up on it.

"No, I don't want to bother you. It's fine, besides, I have gotten it before it's just annoying."

"If you say so." I say before leaning against the lockers behind her and just watching her struggle waiting for her to give up and give me the board to put in my locker. As I keep watching her she is letting out cute little grumbles here and there when something she tries doesn't work. She bends over farther messing with something clear at the bottom of her locker, so of course I am gonna watch her closely. What can I say, she is a girl I find very pretty of course I am going to try and take advantage to check her out from a new angle. But contrary to what I expected to see, instead sends a chill down my spine. Her shirt rises up her back a couple of inches, she immediately pulls her shirt back down and promptly stands up. But in that second not only did I see her spine poking out way farther than it should, but there was a thick raised up red angry looking cut or scar. Im not sure what, but it was big enough it dissapeared past her jeans waistband and I couldn't see the other end, it was still hidden by her shirt.
