In moments when happiness seems far,
Still, I wear a smile like a shining star.
Without a reason, I spread joy around,
Concealing within, thoughts profound.Overflowing with self-love, yet,
Longing for someone else's sunset.
Though I possess all that I need,
Why does contentment elude my creed?Countless stories reside within,
Silently, I keep them hidden.
Amidst the crowd, I stand alone,
Even in togetherness, I find my own tone.Perhaps within me, flaws they see,
Hence, solitude becomes my plea.
Despite my efforts to blend and mend,
I find myself alone at every bend. And yet, despite the faults they see,
I share my truth, unapologetically.
Caring for hearts with all my might,
Even if it means enduring the night. In a world of false affection and deceit,
I stumble, feeling incomplete.
Yearning for love that's genuine,
Yet, somehow, I fail to win.I may not fit their perfect mold,
But within my essence, stories are untold.
Striving to find my rightful place,
Yet, constantly lost in this race.Every moment, every day,
I struggle to find my way.
Wanting to be happy and free,
Yet, happiness eludes me.Perhaps I'm meant to be alone,
For neither do I have a heart of stone.
Neither do I know how to stay,
Caught between living and fading away.
