Y/N'S POV

I was on a call with Maya and Anna, my two best friends as we were discussing gossip surrounding our school. Anyway, I always felt like I was left out of our friend group, Maya, Anna and I have known each other since we were like six years old and sometimes I realize they are just acting like I'm not here. Not only that, but people thought I was weird for hanging out with them, Heather Taylor : The most popular girl in our grade, invited me to sit at lunch with her and her friends. But, Maya forced me to refuse since she was talking about how I was such a fake friend to her and Anna for ditching them just to sit at lunch one day with the popular kids.

I mean, I understood her point of view but every single time something nice happens to me, Maya always has to bring down the opportunity. It pisses me off, and it's the fact that Anna agrees and validates Maya's feelings even if she's in the wrong. I need this Anna's patience but it's not like she agreed with Maya when she was being rude to me. Maya and Anna continued to talk and talk for a good 30 minutes, I wasn't even keeping up with the conversation since I wanted to focus on making a good impression on everyone and then I heard Maya talking about how Heather Taylor gave Brandt Jackson and Dustin Long a handy during this summer?!

I was shocked I froze for a second, literally!

Anyway, I decided to hang up the phone because I wanted to focus on my big entrance for seventh grade. It's not like they would notice anyway since they don't even care about having a stable friend group. I wore wide-leg light blue jeans, a pastel cardigan I made out of crochet under a white tee shirt with black stripes, and then picked cute fruit earrings with my pair of knockoff uggs.
