Miraculous - If Emilie Woke Up (Crack Fic?)

It had been months since Ladybug and Chat Noir had shown up, and Gabriel wasn't getting any closer to getting their Miraculous. Defeated, the man slumped in his seat, trying to think of other possible ways he could get the Miraculous, or what powers he could give villains that would do well in his favor.

The man thought for a moment... What if he just akumatized himself and gave himself the power to revive anyone he wanted. Or to cure anyone's sickness. Or both? How had he not thought of that before?

Gabriel made his way to Nathalie's room as quick as he could to inform her of his amazing idea. She was sitting down on her bed, and her head perked up once he opened the door.

"Sir?"

"Nathalie, I just had a brilliant idea."

"Oh?" Her eyebrows perked up, unamused, yet intrigued. "The last time you said that you failed as usual."

"Yes, but... This time it doesn't involve Ladybug or Chat Noir."

"What do you mean...?" If she wasn't interested before, she sure was now.

"If I were to akumatize myself and give myself the power to restore someone to their former self, such as reviving them or reverting their illness, maybe that would work for both you and Emilie."

"Hmmm..." Nathalie pondered for a moment, unsure if that would even work. "I suppose you could give it a try."

"Nooroo, dark wings rise." He commanded, transforming into... Hawkmoth?? Monarch? Doesn't really matter, the point is that he transformed.

Yada yada yada, he akumatizes himself and oh my god, it worked?!? Woah!!!! And he fixed Nathalie's sickness!! In lack of details, she was appreciative of this.

Gabriel nodded, making his way to the portrait of Emilie, pressing the buttons to take him to where Emilie was incased.

He removed the casing from Emilie's ... Coffin bed?? Thing?? And took a step towards her, using his magic on her.

Her eyes slowly fluttered open, leaving a confused Emilie and a sentimental Gabriel.

"Gabriel...?" She questioned, looking up at the still akumatized man. "Where am I...? And what are you wearing?" She asked, a faint smile on her lips.

She stopped and thought for a moment. Did he wish her back to life? That didn't seem to be the case considering he was... This... Right now. What even was going on?

"Emilie... You're back!" Gabriel exclaimed, helping her out of the glass case she had previously resided in.

"How did you get me back?"

"Well... I gave myself the power to restore someone back to their former self. Which included you and Nathalie."

"Nathalie? What happened? Did she... use the Peacock Miraculous?? Why would she use the-"

"She wanted to help me... I told her not to, but she refused to listen..."

"Help you...? With what? This? You didn't need the Peacock Miraculous for this..."

"Well..." He sighed, going into the spiel of how he was Hawkmoth and all that jazz. She couldn't say she was surprised, exactly, but she wished he wouldn't have done that. She wished he would have stopped.

"Gabriel... Did you not watch the recordings I left?"

"No... It was too much to bear."

"Gabe..." She sighed, shaking her head. "You terrorized Paris for months just to revive me with your own power in the end...?"

"Ah... Yes...?"

She just blinked in response. She had no idea how to respond other than softly face palming, shaking her head yet again.

"I told you you weren't supposed to revive me. You were supposed to take care of our son..."

"You-"

"You didn't watch the recordings, did you?"

Gabriel shook his head, Emilie just sighed.

"Where is our son? Is he okay?" She worried

"Adrien is fine, he's in his room."

"Then let's go talk to him."

"How would we explain this...?"

"Hmmm... I'm not quite sure..." She pondered. "Maybe you could say you got akumatized, got what you wanted, then rejected your akuma? But at the same time I do believe you should come clean, Gabriel."

"Yes... We'll have to ease him into it." He replied, grabbing his wife's hand, who then noticed her ring was gone.

"My ring-"

"Nathalie has yours at the moment."

"That's good then." She smiled, letting him take her hand and followed him to Adrien's room.
