It's a nice morning. Rays of sunshine are already shining through the windows as the cat Winter gets woken up by the sound of her food bowl getting filled. She stretches, jumps off of the chair she was sleeping on and trots over to the kitchen. When she enters, she sees that there are 2 more bowls. Weird. What are they doing there? She only needs 2 bowls, one for water and one for food, not 4. She decides to ignore it for now and goes over to her food bowl and starts eating her food. It's her favourite wet food, deer meat with salmon sauce.
It tastes amazing, like always. She tries to think of something to do, but can't think of anything fun at the moment so she just decides to wash herself. She walks around the house to find a nice spot and sits in a patch of sunlight on the carpet in the living room. She begins to lick her fur to clean it as the sun slowly heats it up.
After an hour or so Winter finishes her bath and closes her eyes to take a nap in the warm sun but quickly gets woken up by her owner screaming. She looks in the direction where the scream came from and sees a moth flying around. Did they really just disturb my sleep because of a damn moth? She lazily walks over to the moth, waits until it sits on a wall and hits it hard with her paw.
I guess I'll have a snack then. She slowly eats the moth, holding it down with her paw. Tastes a bit disgusting, but not too bad. She goes back to the sunny spot on the carpet to take another nap but hears barking outside. Those fucking dogs again.
Winter trots to the door that leads to the garden and goes outside. She walks over to the brick wall, enjoying how soft the grass feels under her paws. Soft like the fur of a kitten. But she can't let the softness of the grass distract her, or else the dogs will be gone before she can have some fun.
She quickly jumps onto the brick wall in her garden and meows to get the attention of the dogs. The dogs notice her and run towards her while barking. Let the fun begin.
Winter runs on the brick wall while the dogs chase her, knowing she's too high up for the dogs to reach her. The wind is blowing into her face and messing up her fur which she'll have to lick again later to make it lay neatly on her body. But it's worth it.
The brick wall is about to end so she jumps onto the branch of a tree and quickly jumps from tree to tree. The dogs that are following her are slowly getting slower. They start to lose interest in the cat and stop following her. Winter sits in the tree and looks down at the town she lives in.
She looks into the garden of a little house. The garden is beautiful. It has a few trees, some flowers and decorations. She also saw an orange cat sunbathing its grass. The cat is Winter's friend Sunny.
Winter jumps into one of the trees in Sunny's garden and climbs down. She trots over to her friend and her friend notices her. "Winter! Come sunbathe with me!"
"Sunbathing isn't really for me. It's boring." Winter stretches as she says this, and Sunny replies with her usual tone. "Whyyy? You always do it at your home too." "Not really, I'm more just taking a nap in the sun. That's different. Anyways, there are more bowls than usual in my home."
(I don't know how to continue this so the first chapter is short because of that but the next chapters will be longer)
