It was a free day so all (Y/n) and Jeongyeon can do is laze around at his house. Jeongyeon was at the couch as she opened up his TV while (Y/n) was busy washing the dishes, Jeongyeon offered to help but (Y/n) said that she was a guest so she should relax. As (Y/n) was busy at the kitchen, Jeongyeon was thinking about something.

“Double Awakening…” Jeongyeon mumbled quietly, “if I am really an awakened person then I should be able to make money quickly… If I continue to grow at this rate, I’ll soon be able to become a top-ranking hunter.” She said to herself.

‘But…’ Jeongyeon’s eyes then went to (Y/n) at the kitchen, ‘If I change too much… will Oppa’s perception about me change too?’ she frowned at the thought about the relationship they have one another changing into something else. She didn’t want that something she hold dear in her life become something else for the other person.

‘It took so long for us to be this close… I’m scared that something like this will be the instance that will force us to grow apart…’ Jeongyeon thinks, her brows furrowing as she looked at the palm of her hand.

“Jeongyeon-ah?” (Y/n) called out in a worried tone. “What’s wrong?” he asked her once Jeongyeon had snapped out from her thoughts.

“Eh? Oppa, did you just call me…” Jeongyeon gaped at him.

“Ah, yeah…” (Y/n) laughs out sheepishly, scratching his nape. “We’ve known each other way, way back and I thought it’s okay to call you by it… you don’t like it?” he asked.

“No! I very much like it, Oppa! I’m just surprised!” Jeongyeon assured him. “I just need to get used to it, that’s all.” She mumbles while twiddling her thumbs in a slightly nervous manner.

(Y/n) smiled. “I’m glad.” He told her. “Because you’re a very special person to me, Jeongyeon-ah.”

A small blush formed on Jeongyeon’s face when she heard that and she looked at the ground, her bangs covering her face to help hide the embarrassed yet joyful smile she had. A peaceful silence envelops the two of them as they sat beside one another in the couch and watched TV. When Jeongyeon asked (Y/n) a question. “Oppa, would you still think of me the same even if I changed all of a sudden?”

(Y/n) was suddenly stunned into silence, he looks at Jeongyeon confused and worried. “Jeongyeon-ah, what’s wrong?” he asked, “what’s with the question?”

Jeongyeon then hastily assured him. “It’s nothing, Oppa! I just- well, it’s just…” not knowing what else to say, she fell quiet. “I’m just scared…”

“Scared of what?” (Y/n) frowned, he then cupped both sides of Jeongyeon’s face gently and made her look at him. “Scared that I will leave you and forget about you?”

“Yeah…” Jeongyeon mumbled out her answer, avoiding (Y/n)’s eyes for a moment.

(Y/n)’s disappointment and slight anger all washed into nothing as he released a deep sigh, he flicks her forehead making her wince in pain and he pulled on her cheeks. “Ow! Oppa, that hurts!” she whined.

“That’s for thinking that I’ll leave and forget about you when it should be me to think that.” (Y/n) told her, “Jeongyeon-ah, I just told you that you’re a very special person to me so don’t ever think like that, okay?” he smiled assuredly at her, gently letting go of her face.
