We were kids who had to separate because families couldn't get along. At that time we didn't think it was a problem and we used to secretly meet up by the beach. We would sit and talk until it hit 1 am on his watch. Sometimes we had to be quiet in case we would wake up people living near where we would stay. It sounds silly but it was precious to us. Older people say that we were inseparable, we were always together. Walking around the roads, visiting local shops, and bars.
What haven't we done?
From our perspective at that time our families were in a just little argument, they would make up and won't fight again, right?
Now I'm wondering if it was us who made that argument, or was it me?
I heard his parents talk alone, I wasn't snooping around, I just heard that I'm a girl who has no manners, I look disgusting and his grandparents wouldn't allow me. It was hurtful to hear those words coming out of his parent's mouths whom I thought were going to treat me like their daughter which they never had.
I was wrong, of course.
After some pranks, his parents cracked. They shouted, they argued, and they finally separated us. That's what they wanted in the first place, to separate us.
