My Princess

Chapter 3- Lindsay's POV

Did I really just do that? I basically just poured my heart out to this boy i just met. I kissed Niall Horan on the cheek. I was so embarrassed I ran ahead after the other boys. I hope I didn't just ruin everything.

I guess I didn't, because Niall quickly ran after me and laced his fingers in mine once again. I smiled and we entered the flat. It was huge! I don't know why I was so surprised considering it belonged to One Direction. The other boys were already sprawled across the living room, ready to watch the movie. Zayne put the DVD in the DVD player and settled on the end of the couch. Harry and Louis were on the floor on bean bags and Liam was in the recliner.

"I'm going to get some food!" Niall announced happily. He turns to me. "Wanna come with me?"

"Sure." I say happily.

"Don't start the movie without us" He warns. Then he grabs my hand and we're off to the kitchen.

Everyone says Niall eats alot, but you can't truely understand the extent of it until you eat with him. I stand there, leaning against the counter and watch as he pulls out three bags of chips, pops three bags of popcorn, some carrots, and a huge bag of candy from the back of a cabinet. He sets it all down on the counter then grabs six cans of Coke. He hands them to me then manages to balance all of the food in his arms. I giggle at the sight.

"What's so funny?" Niall asks innocently.

"Nothing. I just that I've finally found someone who eats just as much, if not more, than I do. I couldn't eat like I usually do in front of Matthew because he thought it was excessive. It's nice to eat without being critisized." Niall grins.

"Well we already figured out that Matthew is an idiot. And it's nice to finally meet a girl who isn't afraid to eat infront of me." We walk back to the living room.

"Girls are actually afraid to eat infront of you?

"Yeah. I have no idea why"

"Maybe they're afraid you'll eat all of their food," Harry suggests.

"That's why I get so much myself." Niall reasons. I hand each of the boys a Coke and Niall distibutes the bags of popcorn. In the end, Louis and Harry share one, Liam and Zayne share one, and Niall and I, the two biggest eaters in the room, share the third. That might be a problem.

"Are we ready?" Liam asks, reaching his hand into the popcorn bag.

"As ready as I'll ever be," I mumble.

"Are you scared?" Harry asks, teasing me.

"Actually, yes. The only 'scary' movies I've ever seen are Poltergeist and The Others."

"That's pathedic!" Louis says.

"Guys, be nice." Liam interviens.

"It's okay. I know I'm a wimp." Then Niall puts his arm around me.

"I'll protect you." He says. All I can do is blush. He leads me to the center of the couch and props his feet up on the coffee table, patting the spot next to him. I reluctantly sit down next to him, moving as close to him as possible. Niall wraps his arm around me then Zayne starts the movie.

All at once, the six of us pop open our cans of Coke and laugh. Niall and I go through the bag of pop corn in five minutes flat. Then, the murderer in the movie runs over the family with a lawn mower. I manage to hold in my scream but immediately bury my face in Niall's chest. He just pulled me impossibly closer, and kissed the top of my head.

For a good portion of the rest of the movie, my face is burried in Niall's chest. By the end of the movie, all of the boys are fast asleep, all of the popcorn bags were empty, and candy wrappers are scattered around the living room along with the six empty pop cans. I comtemplate whether I should take the chance of trying to unravel Niall's arms around me, pick up all of the trash, and make my way around the five sleeping boys to throw it all away with the risk of waking one, if not all of the boys in the proccess. I decide against it and fall asleep in Niall's arms in a matter of minutes. How could being in the arms of a boy I barely know and surrounded by is friends feel so right?
