We had a really bad storm last night causing the power to go out and classes to be canceled, giving all of us a day to leave campus and do whatever as we pleased.

I overheard some students talking about a party then it was confirmed when the twins were talking about it as I make some chicken wraps. " so basically there is going to be hot guys and drinks" Liv is sitting on the counter drinking.

I look back up ah yes a yogurt smoothie thing I don't know we even had those.I shake my head and finish adding some random dressing I found in the fridge to my chicken wrap. " so are you in?" I lift my wrap to my lips and take a nice bite.

Someone should hire me this is the best wrap ever, I go to take another bite but Liv snatches it out of my hand. "Not until you answer me" wiping my face a napkin I give her a straight look.

" no" I say with a smile causing her to whine " nooo" I nod then snatch my food back.she must have lost her mind today, I enjoy the rest of it as she goes on why I should go. But all I'm hearing is hot guys and drinks, two things I don't care about.

" LIV HAVE YOU SEEN MY HAIR BRUSH" Liv rolls her eyes and scuffs "YOU MEAN MY HAIRBRUSH " she jumps off the counter and stomps off to her twin.you gotta love siblings .

I clean up my mess and walk to my room, I plan to go out by myself tonight. I have something's I need to do and that doesn't involve the power rangers.i slide my boots on and grab my jacket,then walking to my dresser I grab my wallet and keys.

Everyone seems to be getting ready so I just slip past them and out the door. I should have 10 minutes before my phone is blown up with where are you text.

Before I get to my destinations I have to pick something's up. So I type in directions to the nearest shop and start walking,the rain is calm but I heard it will storm later tonight so I must make this a quick trip.

10 minutes later and I have arrived, I enter through the sliding doors and grab a little basket. Then make my way down the aisles I needed.

I don't know why I always made fun of his favorite snack but now I can't go to a store without getting it.

He would get pickles but it had to be the spears and peanut butter. That's not all, he would also get a strawberry milk.I honestly think my brother had the stomach of a trash can because there is something wrong with that "snack".

After grabbing this abomination I check out and set direction to the main destination. Today marks 8 years since his passing,I miss him everyday and it gets harder everyday.

One thing everyone knew is my brother loved the ocean or the lake. Anything that had to do with water he was there, and that's where I come every year. If I can't go to an ocean I find a lake and today I was lucky to find a small little lake.

I get to a spot where I have full access to the water and sit down on a damp rock. I tried my best to fine one that wasn't fully drenched but it was quite hard considering it full on stormed last night.

But I take out the snacks and open everything "for you" I eat this so called snack as tears begin to fall.8 years without you but it feels longer.........
