(Vanilla will have they/them pronouns for this but they can be whatever gender you want. Vanilla eating hearts works like how the dazzlings absorb negativity just for fun :) Although only they themselves could see it. In canon, it's like a plant absorbing sunlight.)

Vanilla happily walked through the halls of Aether West Academy. Completely full and satisfied. Thanks to Acanthibar warning them of Twyla, they had made the wise decision and avoided Twyla during the dance. While they so badly wanted to break Twyla's heart, it was just too risky and their father did say to eat. The look of frustration on Twyla's face as Vanilla avoided her was almost as good as finally eating some hearts.

While yes, Twyla did warn the others of Vanilla, they were just too popular to be seen as a monster. It wasn't hard to play dumb and make Twyla the jealous girl in the situation. Even Mary and Reginald chose Vanilla's side. It was the best night ever for Vanilla. This could last them the rest of the school year.

Vanilla walked to the cafeteria to get breakfast but mostly to try and find one of their friends. It didn't take too long as they spotted Netina sitting at her table of friends. She looked depressed and stressed out. Vanilla smiled and walked over, sitting beside her.

She was one of the easiest to crack, a girl who cares about her appearance more than anything. All Vanilla had to do was say "Netina, I can't believe you actually showed up looking like this! Props to you for not giving a damn about other's opinions." Just like that, Netina's heart cracked. Just like her ego. The essence of her heart trailed into Vanilla's pendant, not that anyone could see it but them. It was somewhat sweet but also a bit sour and bitter. But heartbreak is heartbreak.

"Netina, what's gotten you so sad?" Vanilla placed a hand on Netina's. "I- It's nothing really, just really tired after the Starry soirée!" Netina tried to mask her feelings which would work on others but not on Vanilla. They didn't want Netina's heart to fully break just yet. "You look beautiful today, so don't spoil it on a bad mood!" Vanilla reassures.

"Yeah...you're right." Netina then switched to a happy mood. She was always able to switch her mood like a light switch.

You've repaired Netina's heart!

Next was Theo, Vanilla knew where he was. He should be separated from Crowven. After all Vanilla did tell Theo that Crowven tattled on him. They made their way to the library, opening the big doors and walking inside. They gave a slight wave to Ms. B who gave a small nod back before disappearing into the bookshelves. Vanilla moved their way to the back of the library where Theo was smoking, keeping the window opened so the smoke would waft out.

"Oh, sh#t- wait, it's just you babydoll." Theo almost tossed the cigarette out of the window. Vanilla apologized for startling him. But got a good look at his appearance, disheveled and mad. "What brings you back here?" Theo put out the cigarette.

"I just wanted to check up on you, y'know. After everything." Vanilla sat on the table as he lit another cigarette. "I'm just a bit mad at Crowven! I know he does well in class and everything but seriously? Tossing me under to bus to save his own ass?! Bullshit. Absolute bullshit." Theo smoked the cigar. "Anyways, thanks for rigging the vote so I could be the king/queen/monarch of the soirée. It means so much to me that you cared." Vanilla said, changing the subject. It wasn't particularly a lie.

"Better you than anyone else babydoll." Theo responded. Vanilla could sense that his heart was still damaged, so they decided to try a new strategy. Vanilla gave a quick kiss to Theo's cheek, watching him process what happened and turn red as a rose. "Babydoll?!" "Just a thank you for being my friend. I'll always be there for you." Vanilla left knowing they succeeded.

You've repaired Theo's heart!

Whether Theo took that platonically or romantically Vanilla didn't care. His heart was fixed and that was what matters. Next up was Mitzi. Which was so much easier then expected. Mitzi ran up to them absolutely bawling and apologizing over and over and over again.
