Jenny pov

We exited the elevator and approached a synthetic (android) behind a glass "hello? My name's jenny. This is kaylee. We need your help." i said "please take a seat, someone will be with you shortly." the android replied "no wonder seegson is losing the tech race." i whispered as the android walked away from the glass "what do we do now?" kaylee asked me "just stick with me." i replied as i taked her hand and started to walk forward. We continued to walk until an android turned to look at us "can i help you?" it asked "we need to get into comms control. It's urgent." kaylee said "that is a restricted area." it replied "it's an emergency! Don't you realize what's going on?" i said "APOLLO has the situation in hand. Your registration is almost complete." it said "forget it, we'll find our own way in." i said starting to walk away hearing faintly the last thing the android said "i wouldn't advise it." it said walking away "Aren't they supposed to be super smart and loyal? I mean they're androids build for that." kaylee said "i tought so too." i replied smiling down at her, we continued to walk to find some way into comms and then we came trough a small room, we started to look around for something useful "jenny look at this." kaylee called me and i looked at her as she picked up something from the table, i taked it in my hand to look at it "some kind of tracker. It's been modified." i said, kaylee taked it again and turned it on, the tool made a noise and marked that something was behind us so i quickly turned around and hid kaylee behind me, fortunately it was just a synthetic "are you lost?" it asked us "no, no problem." i replied faking a smile, the android walked away "they're creepy sometimes." kaylee said "yeah i see that. You can hold it, the tracker." i replied "are you sure?" she asked "yeah" i smiled and she smiled back "maybe we can go trough that door." she said then pointing at a door beside the room we were in "it's closed." i looked at her and she smiled pointing at the terminal in the corner of the room, i smirked at her and approached the terminal searching if there was a file to open the door, i found it and the door opened, we entered it and and found a stairwell so we got up. Once arrived we were in a long corridor but unfortunately it was blocked "that door." kaylee pointed at a door that i could open by using my monkey wrench, i opened the door and we started to walk again side by side, after some time we arrived at another glass with an android behind "we need to go trough that door." kaylee said to me pointing at a door not do far from the position of the synthetic, it saw us and it started to speak "you are entering a resticted area. Please leave." it said "let us in, we need to contact my ship!" i replied "i'm sorry. I can't allow that. Jenny and kaylee. Jenny you have now been logged with APOLLO. Welcome to Sevastopol. Someone will be along shortly to answer your questions." it said "there's got to be another way inside." i whispered and kaylee widened her eyes and smiled "there is. Follow me." i followed her to a corner of the room were there was a blocked door, kaylee tooked out from the backpack the tuner and hacked the door open "you're a small and cute genius you know that?" i said "yeah i know." she smiled, we entered it and she immediatly got towards the vent to enter it, i followed her "how do you knew this way?" i asked "my mom used to have a map of the entire station, when she was at work i was so bored that i started to always look at it and after some time it happened that i memorized some secret ways to enter the rooms." she replied, we continued to crawl in silent after that but then we heard someone speaking and a grate appeared in front of us showing us a human speaking to one of the androids "access to elevator is restricted. You are trepassing." the android said "let me pass. It's me, hughes! Don't you recognize me? Listen to me! We've got to re-establish long range communications--" the man said but the synthetic interrupted "you're becoming hysterical." it said going near the man "get back, i'm warning you!" the man said but the android didn't listen to him and grabbed him from his shoulder "let's resolve this amicably." it said, the man used his gun to shoot at the it, the android stumbled back a little but then returned to normal and this time it grabbed the man roudly and pushed him against the wall "oh my god." i whispered, then the android grabbed the man from the head and started to smash it in the wall killing him "good day." it said after the man died then it walked away "they aren't supposed to act like this, never." kaylee said "let's go." i said going in front of her and exiting the vent first finding myself in the room with the now dead man, i looked back at kaylee since she was about to go out "you stay here, i'm gonna go find the terminal to unlock the elevator." i said "i can do it, i'm-" i interrupted her "more small than me so you can get past them more easy? I'm not gonna risk your life again, they're not humans, kaylee, if they see you they're not gonna spare you. Let me do it, okay?" i replied putting my hand on her cheeck "(sigh)... Okay but be careful." she said "always." i started to walk in the room were the android were and without being noticed i got to the terminal beside it, i searched the files to unlock the elevator and then i opened it "you shouldn't be here." i heard a robotic voice behind me before being grabbed and throw to the wall, the android taked me by my neck and started to chock me, i was starting to see black when someone hitted it in the back of it's head, it was kaylee, i fell to the ground and tried to get back my breath, the android started to get back to it's feet but before he could do anything i taked out my revolver and shot him directly in the head, it fell to the ground dead "are you okay?" kaylee asked crouching beside me "yeah... Thank you, kaylee." i replied and she nodded. We got up from the floor and walked to the elevator and called it "come on..." i whispered and the elevator finally came, we entered it and pressed the button. Once arrived on the right floor we got out finding ourselfs in a big control room with huge windows showing the planet.

"where do we go now?" i asked myself then we heard the radio go on "this is verlaine on the torrens. What the hell just happened? Sevastopol? Did any of our EVA team make it on board? Please respond. We've taken damage in the explosion and are pulling out of sevastopol space. System will be down while we repair. I can't say for how long..." i smiled hearing the voice of the captain of the torrens "who is she?" kaylee asked "a friend." i replied, we looked beside us and saw a stairwell, we started to go up them. Once arrived on top we were on a room above the rest of the control room below us, then i approached the computer and i started to activate the communications seeing only that the servers were offline "oh, that's just great... Got to be someone on the station i can contact." i said starting to walk again towards the stairwell "maybe there's one." kaylee said "were?" i asked "just follow me." she smiled and she started to walk downstairs, she approached the room with silence signaling me to not speak and we entered a vent on the floor, we arrived at a door that got us to the other side of the room without being noticed by the androids, we got out of the vent still remaining crouch and got in a door on the right of the room "good job." i smiled at kaylee "we're not arrived yet." she replied as she got up a little from her crouching position and started to walk. After a lot of walking around the hallways we arrived to another control room but before entering it we waited for the androids that were there to walk out, once they got away we immediatly got in front of the computers "can you hack it?" i asked kaylee and she nodded, she hacked the sistem and the communications went on "samuels. You're alive, it's jenny." i said as samuels face appeared on the screen "jenny! Taylor, it's jenny! We were getting worried, w-we tought..." i interrupted him "i made it. Where are you?" i asked him "we're at transit station now. It's right by medical." he said "okay. Samuels, listen to me, it's not safe here. Seegson's got this place locked tight. Their goddamn androids are killing people." i replied looking around me to see if some of the androids were coming before looking at the screen again "that's impossible. It's contrary to primary synthetic programming." he said confused "i've seen it, samuels, we've seen it. I guess seegson's got a different idea about synthetics. And there's something else here. A creature, it's big and it's lethal." i said "jenny, slow down! A-a creature?" he asked "it's a life form, an unknown type, some kind of alien organism. It's extremely dangerous. You and taylor need to..." he stopped me "jenny, taylor is hurt. She was injured by debris during the crossing." i looked at him worried "how bad?" i asked "i can't move her. I need medical supplies. We need to treat and pack the injury." he replied "and the torrens?" i asked "the radio is broken, i can't contact verlaine. We're on our own." he said "shit. Okay, we'll come to you. Keep your eyes open." i taked kaylee hand in mine "i'll send a transit car to you." samuels said before the communications went off and an allarm started to ring "let's go." kaylee said taking me out of that room before the androids could see us.
