The reaping

JOSETTES POV
The day of the reaping...I just turned sixteen im still a child,I worry if my name will be chosen,
one boy one girl from each district.

I live in district 12,I don't have a lot of money me and my family are small but happy until the reaping days.

"Josette honey"Euphemia potter shouts Jo down,she has tears in her eyes "yes mama"
"it's time to go"Euphemia sniffles as she speaks "James is just putting his shoes on now"

Jo hugs her mother "it will be okay mama,we'll both be fine" "I hope so"she kisses josettes forehead then releases from the hug.

"Let's get this over with,James!"james rushes into the room "Jo"

"James"

"you ready"

"Ready as I'll ever be"

James and Josette hold hands and comfort each other on there way too the reaping ceremony.All she can think of is one girl one boy,what if it's her and James?they don't wanna kill each other.

"Gather round!"they hold hands tighter then before "it'll be okay sis" they share a comforting smile.

"We'll change it up a bit,boys first"james let's out a shaky breath,he looks at the blonde haired girl on stage,she looks way to innocent to be in the capitol.

"Tyler lupin"everyone looks around them,they see a average hight young boy around jos age.he's wearing a leather jacket and rings.

He goes up to the front looking un bothered "Why is he so calm"Jo whispers to James "I don't know it's unsettling"

"Time for the girls!"jo then breathes in holding it until the woman at the front says the name.

"Josette potter!"She breathes out but it's shaky "no jo,I'll volunteer for you jo no" "James it's a boy and a girl"she sighs "I'll be fine" "jo"
"I Love you Jamie"
"Say strong jo"

Jo walks up to the front very slowly,she's terrified,guards push her forward a bit to make her go faster but she couldn't help the pace she was walking.

"Here we have our two tribute!miss Josette potter and mr Tyler lupin!"

When James gets home
"Not my baby Girl!"euphemia cry's out "they took our daughter"she goes close to fleamont and cry's into his shoulder.

"James,thank Merlín your alright"Euphemia hugs him as they both cry "shell be okay,she's smart"fleamont says "smart won't get her anywhere in that arena!they kill!her books won't help this time!"

"Lupin was the other guy your friends last name is called lupin is it him?" Fleamont asks James "no it's his brother,Remus has been missing since his name got chosen two years ago but he was never announced dead"

With Josette and Tyler
There on the journey to the capitol "im Josette"
"I know your name just got called out I was there"Tyler says coldly "I was just trying to make conversations" "talk to your self then"Josette looks down and fidgets with her hands.

"To answer your question I was so calm cuz this is an easy death" Josette's shocked "how did you hear us?" He ignores her.

"Okay you Two we're almost at the capitol,smile you look like your cat just died"the girl from before nudges Tyler."who are you"Jo asks
"I am Pandora rosier,I'll be your mentor Josette,Tyler your mentor will be at the room"Jo nods and Tyler just rolls his eyes.

"Pandora" "Sirius"the two hug "this is where you two will be staying,there rooms for us all" Pandora says then holds onto Jos arm.

"Come with me,I'll show you your room,oh and Tyler this is Sirius he'll be your mentor"Pandora and Jo walk off down the long hallway.
