The Prank

| Melady Carmichael's Pov |

After Austin and I's little heart to heart in the auditorium, I got my head back in the game. We stayed through second period so, we came out right when fourth period started.

"Mel! Where have you been?" Janie asked me as she and Xavier came in step with me on our way to get the prank for Austin ready. We quickly slipped out the side doors of the cafeteria and walked around the school to the student parking lot. There, sitting in the blazing heat, was his beauty. Xavier, Janie and I went up to his car and Xavier got the carton of eggs out of his backpack. I grabbed one and cracked it open on the car. We went through the entire carton of eggs. Finally, to finish it off, I wrote on the back windshield, in window marker, 'Hope you like your eggs sunny side up!'

"We are such badasses." Xavier chuckled.

"We cooked breakfast on a car, it's not that badass." I laughed at him.

"They look pretty damn good though, we should be pro chefs." Xavier said. I laughed again as we walked back to the school. We said bye and went our separate ways in the foyer and went to class. My class this period is with Austin so, I was looking forward to seeing him as he walks out after final period. I got in the class and took my normal seat in the middle of the classroom.

"Miss. Carmichael, care to explain why you were late?" Ms. Simonpietri asked me.

"I wasn't feeling eggs-cellent so, I went to the nurse to get my sunny side up." I snickered, looking at Austin. He narrowed his eyes at me. I smiled at him and we continued with the 30 minutes left of class. "I've gotta scramble out of here, see ya guys!" I yelled after the final bell.

"So, Melady, you haven't done a prank yet." Austin said as we walked down the hallway.

"Oh, just wait. By the way, I keep forgetting to tell you this, but, your car is eggs-travagant." I smirked at him. His eyes grew wide in realization. I laughed and followed after him as he ran to the front doors.

"God-damnit!" He yelled when he reached his car. There was a crowd of people around the car laughing.
"Melady Carmichael, care to explain why my car is now a skillet?"

"I think you can figure it out." I laughed. Austin narrowed his eyes at me before walking towards me. I turned and began running. I heard Austin's footsteps running behind me. I turned to look at the set location of the next part of the prank. Janie had the bucket sitting beside the door to the gym. I ran over there and grabbed 3 water balloons out of it.

"Phase Two!" I yelled as Austin caught up to me. Xavier, Janie, Brandon, and Brittany all stepped out from their hiding places and threw water balloons at Austin. I stepped up to him with the bucket of water and dumped it on him making him completely soaked.

"Run." Austin seethed at me. I did as I was told. I ran to my truck and got in, my friends following me. Xavier getting in the front and Janie, Brandon, and Brittany squeezing in back. I locked the doors and we all started laughing. Austin started hitting the door and yelling at me but I just started the car and shooed him away. I pulled out of the parking space and drive my friends to my house.

A/N

Im so sorry for the super short chapter! I couldn't think of anything to add, I just thought it should end here. But, I will try to make the chapters a decent length!

I do wanna ask you guys for topics for Austin and Melady to talk about on their Friday night excursions.

Also, I've seen a bunch of authors putting teasers in the Author's Notes of their stories and I was wondering if you want me to do that.
