Sarah's POV
"And one two three, Up Sarah, higher!" Mrs. Flatly screamed at me, as I was preparing for my solo. Oh yeah, have I told you? I have been accepted into Worlds. I found out this morning, when I showed up to dance class for my privates at 8:15 AM.
Yeah, I know they usually tell you if you qualify for Worlds at Oireachtas, but they didn't tell me, at least I didn't think so.
"And a one two three click, and a one two three click, and a one two three click, treble and a treble and a rock rock rock. Yasss Sarah!" I heard her scream. I slightly smiled but I was in pain. By ankle has been bothering me because I was doing a click and I landed it wrong. I was just putting that behind me though because it was a minor injury....right?
"Sarah, would you mind doing the set over again, and get on your toes a little higher too! The judges will give extra points if they look at your toes and see your incredible height. But they will also take off points if you do not have incredible height." Mrs. Flatly added. I sighed under my breath, knowing that this would take a while.
Mrs. Flatly made me change into my soft shoes and do cut two three in place followed by two twists and a double. I did that successfully, well if that's what you wanna call it.
She made me move on to three cut two threes and then five bicycle jumps after that. On my fifth round of that pattern, my ankle began to bother me, but I kept on going. I was on my fourth bicycle jump, and I landed it on the floor.
"Oww oww oww oww" I screamed, as my ankle was swollen and throbbing. By the look of Mrs. Flatly, you could tell that this has never happened to her before. She kept asking if I should call my dad, but I didn't answer. I was in too much pain, I couldn't even bare it.
"Mrs. Flatly I can't feel my leg, I can't feel it." I said. I took one look down at my knee and it was turning blue.
"What have I gotten myself into" I looked down and teared.
