This tale is completely fiction, science fiction, and while I haven't read the novels or all the comics that tie-in to the Firefly/Serenity, I know of them and their general outline. And I am a big fan of the TV Series 'Firefly' and its one-off movie 'Serenity'.
But I will add that while this is heavily based on the franchise, the storyline and lore will differ just a bit.
For those of you who don't know the full details of the world of Firefly/Serenity, please be warned that while the scenes of rape and murder won't happen to our main cast, nor will it happen to any of their friends and affiliates or portrayed in anyway, it will be mentioned or rather implied.
If this is distressing for you, please refrain from reading as your mental well-being is more important.
I will put a warning at the top of a chapter when it comes to it with the words 'Warning in Place'.
The story will also have scenes of a sexual nature, most of the time it'll be implied.
There will also be violence and some mentioned gore, but not too over the top. As well as dealing with the subject of mental health, bodily autonomy, cruelity, and torture.
As for place names and planetary systems, bear in mind that some names written down are a direct Google Translate of simple words from English to Korean that are not necessarily how it's worded in proper Korean or even used, and I encourage you to learn the language if you're super curious about it.

This story has A LOT of backstory, so I've popped up character information and universe set ups. It'll give you a nice background to the characters and the universe they live in.
Finally, to say again, this is a complete work of fiction, written for entertaiment purposes only and does NOT in any way portray the real lives or personalities of any member of BTS or their friends.
Outside of fanfiction, they are real people with real lives and feelings and should be respected as such.
