Holding her hand in mine felt good as we walked into the station towards my cabin where Andrea was explaining everything to them. Opening the door, I got shocked by the view in front of me. Aiden, Jack, Steven, Diana, Noah, Sira, and her wife were all in the room, along with that girl—Chloe—and Andrea.
"So, the one you love and tried to kill was a Vampire, and that's why you suspected that she was killing," Sira said. Goddammit. "Andrea, everyone knows," I groaned, screaming.
"Hey, not my fault. She called her wife the moment we stepped in the cabin and told. Sira just can't keep her mouth shut. While she was talking and I tried to calm her down, not to tell her wife, the guys entered, and I had to explain it to everyone. Chloe was no help when she just showed her fangs," Andrea explained.
I turned to look at Chloe who was just sitting on top of the side table and showed her fangs again.
"Damm those look sharp can I touch them" Sira questioned.
"Sit down Sira, don't behave like a child." Lydia said holding onto her hand tightly so she doesn't run off.
"But you don't see a Vampire everytime, right now I have a chance to touch her fang." Sira said looking at Lydia with her puppy eyes.
Lydia groans and glares at Sira which makes her sit down quietly. Seeing this interaction Ava laughs standing beside me.
A big sigh left my mouth. This was not going well; everyone knew when they shouldn't have.
"So, it's actually a Vampire's doing, and the person you love is a Vampire too," Aiden said, looking at Ava. I nodded also stepping in front of Ava, not leaving her hand in mine and holding it tightly, protectiveness filling my body to shield her from them. I put my hand on my gun, ready to take charge if any of them made a move towards her.
"Woah, woah, woah, stop! We aren't going to hurt her. Dammit, Aiden, stop scaring her. We trust you, and now I understand everything. When you explained to us that night, I had a hunch you weren't saying the full truth. But now I understand, and I am sorry for Sira; she just can't keep things in her stomach," Lydia said.
"What?" Sira exclaimed. "You get mad at me when I lie to you."
"Babe, you should know the borderline on which ones I will get mad and which ones I won't," Lydia said, kissing her forehead.
I smiled and looked back at Ava, smiling at her. "So are you guys okay now? I mean, is everything okay between the two of you?" Andrea asked. I smiled towards her and nodded my head.
"Phew, now that this is done, only one problem is there on our hands."
"And that is?" Diana asked.
"The Rougues," Ava said.
"Hey, I am Sira, although we have met before, but this is my wife, Lydia," Sira introduced Ava and Lydia, shaking their hands, and one by one, everyone introduced themselves.
"I never imagined I would be shaking a hand with a Vampire. This is so cool, I can brag this too." Sira said with a flicker and enjoyment in her eyes and body language as if she had just met the God himself.
"No Sira, you cannot utter a word about this to anyone, you will be putting Ava's life in danger by doing this." Lydia said making her understand.
"Okay, so like, can we know how are you guys planning to stop the Rougues? We all want to help too," Noah said.
.................
After spending two hours explaining everything, more like Ava explaining to them what their goal and motive were towards the killings and kidnapping.
