Chapter 7

After all that, things got back to normal. Of course, Rin got invited to their friend group by Nagi since he wanted to thank him for doing him a favor. It was lunchtime, and Reo and Nagi were "flirting" again. Reo gently patted Nagi's head as Nagi leaned into his touch, seeking affection and comfort. The rest of the friend group just watched them, some chuckling and some just watching the scene in front of them unfold.

Nagi took a deep breath and wanted to confess on the spot, where the atmosphere was perfect. But he couldn't bring himself to do it. The words were stuck in his throat, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't force it out. "Reo I- I- I-" Nagi tried to confess but he couldn't at the moment, no matter how hard he tried. Maybe it's the fear of rejection? Or the guilt of lying to Reo? He was unsure but he just can't bring himself to say it.

Reo looked at Nagi with a confused look and tilted his head slightly to the left. "What is it?" He questioned as Nagi shook his head and looked at the ground. He wasn't ready, but the fact that he couldn't bring himself to confess hurts him a lot. Nagi stood up and walked off quickly, leaving Reo and the others confused.

Nagi later decided to distance himself from Reo to give him some time to prepare to confess. At this time, he has gotten closer to Chigiri and Bachira, telling them his problems of the fear of confession and taking advice from them which Reo didn't like since Nagi spent more time with them than him.

Nagi was HIS treasure and he wouldn't let anyone take Nagi away. Nagi belonged to him and only him. He won't let Chigiri or Bachira come between them...
