The Real Me

First day: classes

I was so proud of myself and I eventually went with Sam and Nicole Sam to our home room which we all had together I had all of my classes with Sam except for one and three classes with Nicole.

In home room every body was still surprised by my confidence boost. Even one if the most popular guys through middle school that I had a major crush on Tyler was in this class and noticed me when I walked in.

The teacher wasn't here yet so everybody was talking. When Tyler saw me he came over to me I thought I was in heaven. "Hi I'm Tyler." He introduced himself he must not of noticed me all through middle school at all or just didn't recognize me.

"I'm amy."

"Amy, what a pretty name for a pretty girl." By now my cheeks were probably the color of a fire truck.

"Thanks." I said shyly.

By then though of course Sam had to step in and take over the big brother role. Oh and Tyler and Sam don't get along, never have.

"Hello Tyler can I help you with something?" Asked Sam rudely to Tyler

"Actually I was just talking to Amy so you can go away now." Tyler said in a sweetly sarcastic way.

Sam looked at me as if asking for permission I just slightly nodded and he just sad down at the desk right by where I was standing.

"So I just wanted to say that was amazing this morning the way you stood up against Halley."

"Thanks I was just tired of all the crap she put me through all my life."

"Well if you would like you could sit with me at lunch?"

Sam had heard and had to but in "yeah I think that's enough chit chat here and no she will not sit with you good bye Tyler!"

He dragged me off to a seat between him and Nicole. "Really Sam! I finally get him to talk to me and you drag me away!"

"He is no good Amy you need to stay away from him I don't want you getting hurt."

I was about to speak but the teacher walked in and introduced herself.

The class went by in a blur and the next class was math. Of course I was still mad at Sam but sat with him anyway.

Next thing I knew it was 5th period and I was in band my favorite class. I play French horn I have always thought it was the prettiest sounding instrument.

This was the one class I didn't have with sam cause he was in gym which is right next to the band room so we are still really close.

So soon as the lunch bell rings he is right by the band door looking sexy as every with sweet droplets still on his forehead. Oh did I forget to mention how sexy my best friend is? Well he is 5'10 which isn't to tall and has dark blonde hair and bright blue eyes that anybody would kill for, I get lost in them all the time.

"Ready to go?" He says knocking me out of my daze.

"Yeah let's go."

We end up meeting Nicole in the cafeteria. She saved us seats at the table she sat at.

"Hey" she says as we sit down

"Hey" me and Sam say at the same time.

"So how was y'alls first classes so far?"

"Okay" i say "oh and guess who's class I have next that I just can't wait for?" I said with sarcasm dripping from my voice.

"Ugh I can't believe he is teaching here of all the places he could teach at." Says Nicole

Yeah sadly my brother just got out of college to become a teacher and he is working here as a history teacher. He is 22 and crazy I have no idea why he wanted to be a teacher. And he will probably have all the girls wrapped around his finger cause lets just say this he got all the looks in the family. He is 6'2 with blonde hair and the same blue eyes I have. He is very buff cause he works out sometimes and used to play football in Highschool.

"I didn't know he was starting this year?" Says Sam

"Yeah he found out he got the job a month ago." I tell him "I thought I told you?"

"I don't know maybe I barley remember where my foot is"

Me and Nicole burst out laughing. Haha you gotta love Sam. I know I do, I just wish he would feel the same way.

So after lunch the bell rings and this is one of the classes I have with Nicole to. So we head to my brothers class and when we get there I see him. It's weird seeing him trying to look like an authority figure because of how crazy and wild he is.

I see him and grunt and he looks up "well nice to see you too sis"

"Yeah sorry I can't say the same about you bro."

"I don't think that's anyway to talk to your teacher missy. Do you want a detention?"

"Really Kyle?"

"Yup and it's Mr.Fitzgerald to you here."

"Ugh whatever just make sure nobody figures out your my brother."

"I'll try my best sis" he says popping out the sis part right when people start walking in, including Halley.

She looks at him for a while then looks at me in discuss "your his sister?"

"Sadly... Why?"

"You look nothing alike I mean look at him he's sexy and your whale."

"First of all ewww! Don't call my brother sexy and lastly don't make me do the whale thing again because you were creamed this morning don't make me really look like a whale that's black and blue."

My brother heard our little argument "whoa whoa what's going on here?" We stayed quiet. "Okay Amy tell me what happend right now!"

"Long story supposedly I was a whale all my life and this morning I summed some stuff up and she can't get over herself."

"Is this is true?" He looked at Amy

"No she's lying she has always been mean to me and was always jealous of me and how much prettier I am then her." She said trying to get sympathy from my brother. I could tell by the look on his face though that he wasn't buying it.

"Yeah right I doubt that I know my sister and she wouldn't be jealous of you and she is too nice and sweet to hurt a fly. But this behavior is different for her. So right now y'all go your separate ways and forget the past. Just don't say anything to each other. Understand?" He asked

"Yes" me and Halley said at the same time.

"Good now take your seats so I can start my class."

We didn't say anything else but I could feel Halley's glare on me all class.

The rest of the day went by fast and next thing I know I'm on the bus on the way home.

When we get to the stop Sam asks "hey can I come over my sisters the only one home and I don't want to go home yet."

"Of course" I say to him "do you want to come to Nicole?" I ask her

"No it's okay my moms expecting me so we can go to the store."

"Alright see you tomorrow, and text me" I tell her as me and Sam start heading to my house.

Wow what a day today has been.
