Aspen had always been a careful and responsible person, so when she found out she was pregnant, she was in shock. She couldn't believe that she had made such a huge mistake, especially since she had no idea who the father of her baby was. Aspen was terrified of what people would think of her. She worked at a prestigious law firm and was well-respected in her community. She couldn't bear the thought of everyone judging her for her unplanned pregnancy. Desperate for answers, Aspen went to see her doctor for a check-up. She nervously told them that the father of her baby was a man named Chase, whom she had met at a work conference.

The doctor assured her that they would keep her secret safe and provided her with all the necessary information for her pregnancy. But as the days went by, Aspen couldn't shake the feeling of guilt and deceit. She knew that the true father of her baby was not Chase, but a man she had met at a bar one night. A man who had introduced himself as Wolf. As Aspen's pregnancy progressed, she couldn't help but feel a deep connection to her unborn child.

She knew that she had to come clean about the true identity of the father, no matter the consequences. When Aspen went into labor, she felt both terrified and excited. She gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, whom she named River. As she held her son for the first time, she made a vow to always be honest with him and to never keep secrets from him. As Aspen looked down at her son, she knew that no matter what challenges may come her way, she would always protect and care for River with all her heart. And as she watched him sleep peacefully in her arms, she knew that her secret was finally out in the open, and she felt a sense of relief and freedom she had never experienced before.

Aspen sat on her bed, nervously clutching her positive pregnancy test. She had only been seeing Chase for a few months, and had not expected things to progress this quickly. She knew she had to tell him, but she wasn't sure how he would react. Meanwhile, in a dark corner of the forest, Wolf was on his nightly patrol.

He had always had a soft spot for Aspen, ever since they were pups. He had noticed her growing belly and suspected what it meant. Determined to find out the truth, he set out to track down Chase. Wolf found Chase in a seedy bar, drowning his sorrows in alcohol. He sat down next to him and ordered a drink, silently waiting for Chase to speak. It didn't take long before the words spilled out.

"I don't want this baby, Wolf," Chase slurred. "I didn't sleep with Aspen to become a father. I can't do this." Wolf felt a surge of anger rise up within him. How could Chase be so callous, so uncaring? Without a word, he grabbed Chase by the collar and dragged him out of the bar, determined to set things right. They arrived at the hospital just in time for Aspen to give birth. As River entered the world, Wolf couldn't help but feel a swell of pride and protectiveness.

But his anger towards Chase simmered just beneath the surface. As Aspen held her newborn son in her arms, Chase was off in a corner, texting the girl he had met at the bar, talking trash about Aspen. Wolf saw red. How could Chase be so heartless, so cruel? Before he knew it, Wolf found himself in another fight with Chase, fists flying as they grappled with each other. It was a messy, tumultuous scene, but in the end, Wolf emerged victorious, shaking with rage and righteous anger.

As Aspen looked on, tears streaming down her face, she knew that Chase was not the man she had thought he was. And she knew that she had Wolf by her side, ready to protect and care for her and baby River no matter what secrets and betrayals may come to light.
