"RYAAAANNNNN!! YOU HAVE A GUEST AT THE DOOR!"

Ryan jolted awake to his mother yelling for him at the door.

"Coming!" He replied while trying to quickly make himself look presentable. He gave himself a small look over in the mirror before leaving his room and speed walking his way to the door. When he reopened the door he saw... Brendon?

Ryan was so confused. He had a lot of questions. Like, why was Brendon here? And most importantly how did he have his address? He opened his mouth to ask what the younger boy was doing there but Brendon whipped out a piece of cardboard paper and quickly started speaking.

"George Ryan Ross III," okay, how the hell did he know his full name as well? "Will you make me the happiest boy in Las Vegas and go to prom with me?" The cardboard paper said 'I hate to be BLUNT but WEED be perfect ROLLIN UP to prom' with a little weed leaf on it. Ryan did not know what to say. He was honestly in shock. Also wasn't prom in, like, April? Why was Brendon asking him in October?

"Omigosh!" Ryan's mom suddenly interrupted. "Now ain't that the sweetest thing! Ryan say yes to him, sweetie!"

Ryan gaped at his mother, was she crazy?! But when he turned back to Brendon he just looked so hopeful that Ryan couldn't say no.

"Um, yeah." He agreed. "Sure, I guess." Brendon pumped his fist with a small "fuck yeah!" With the arm that wasn't holding the sign he pulled Ryan in for a hug, kissing his forehead when he pulled away.

"I'll see you on Monday!" Brendon said before all but skipping away to his car. Before opening the door to get inside, he did a little cross crunch (the dance where you bring your right elbow to your left knee, and vice versa).

Ryan stood just blinking at the road where Brendon drove off. He slowly closed the door before walking back to his room and falling back asleep.
