"Since you're so resolute, I won't hide this from you any longer." Jiang Xingnan seemed to have come to a difficult decision.
He said with some hesitation, "The truth is, back when Grandmother Manoban decided on your engagement with Lisa, Grandfather Manoban had opposed her decision. However, he could not persuade her to change her mind. I'm here because I've received Grandfather Manoban's instructions to pursue you."
Jennie appeared composed. She clasped her hands together comfortably. "I expected this."

"You!" She glared at him.
He waved the cup before and intentionally kissed the cup. "This is called an indirect kiss, do you understand? Let me tell you, I won't change my mind easily. Since you insist on throwing yourself into a burning pit, I'll wait for the day you run out of the Manoban family crying. Of course..."
A hint of worry flashed past his eyes. "I hope that you'll be unharmed when that day comes."
