After much discussion with Kim Sehun, they decided to let the Kim Group go and work on their own businesses individually.

Currently, from the perspective of an outsider, Jennie indeed only had the status of the future Madam Manoban.

She secretly clicked on the recording pen in her pocket and started recording Somi's words.

Earlier, she had intentionally provoked her. She would wait for the right opportunity to play this recording.

Somi watched as Jennie remained silent and assumed that she had successfully suppressed her. She felt great internally and added. "Oh, I forgot. Your family still owns a mansion where a murder took place." She immediately smiled. "To think that there was a corpse hidden beneath the Kim family's storeroom, and that it was actually your mother's corpse. You enjoyed the company of a dead body for more than seven years in that storeroom. You must have lived comfortably didn't you? The Kim family's villa was originally worth some money. Now that it has become such a frightening haunted house, I wonder if you'll be able to sell it even if you offer it at a much lower price?"

"Somi, is this the side you've been hiding for so long?" Jennie smiled coldly. "Don't worry. My Kim family villa will never be put on sale. Although it may count as a haunted house to others, my mother doted on me dearly and will only pray for my safety. There's nothing wrong with sharing her company. There's no need for you to worry about my family's villa."

She suspected that Somi would not go on any further and decided to silently end the recording.

Somi scanned the surroundings. Aside from Kai, who was hidden behind the corner, there wasn't anyone else nearby.

She did not come for a casual conversation. She suddenly stepped forward and held Jennie's hand warmly. "My apologies, Miss Kim. I was in the wrong earlier and went out of line. Don't be upset with me."

Jennie noticed that this woman had suddenly turned polite and guessed that she planned on stealing her red packets.

In her past life, she had hated Lisa too much and only opened the red packets after several days.

In the end, she found that each red packet only contained twenty dollars.

She was angered to the point of... it hadn't been an issue about the amount. She was upset about the blatant disrespect.

Considering the Manoban family's wealth, to give their future daughter-in-law twenty dollars had been an intentional act of humiliation. It would have been better if they did not give her even a single cent.

At the time, she had immediately looked for Lisa and fought with him over this matter.

Lisa had asked his family only to learn that they each gave her a cheque worth six million dollars.

Someone had replaced her red packet at some point. As it had been a few days since she received the red packet, they were unable to find out the truth.

She deliberated over it and realised that Somi had interacted with her at that time and her actions had been extremely suspicious.

However, when she pointed this out, Somi had burst into tears and claimed she would never do such a thing.

Everyone felt that, given she was the Lee Group's only successor, why would she be lacking money? There was no way she would have taken it.

Thus, the money she received disappeared just like that and there was no one she could blame.

This time, she would definitely catch this thief in her act.

As Jennie deliberated over this, she noticed Somi reaching for her red packets. She then quickly placed a different set of red packets into her pocket.

As expected, Somi had been the one to replace her eighteen million dollars with a few hundred dollars!

Very good!

She didn't even know that Somi had this sort of talent. She moved so quickly and truly acted like a thief.

Jennie was about to deal with this thief when Kai appeared from behind a corner.

He raised his voice. "Somi, there's no need to be so secretive when giving Miss Kim red packets!"
