San fought the rage he felt inside him. If he couldn't control himself, he would quickly transform back into a wolf and go after the cubs that had cornered this man.

He really wanted to rip off their skin and make them suffer, but he couldn't do it because he had to first take care of the hell they had created.

His mind immediately summarized the obvious facts. The cubs had grabbed this man, tried to hunt him down, and now he had become his problem. If he had known he was here, he would never have changed. Now he had seen him transform and he had no idea how to fix this mess.He looked at him sadly. He didn't want to kill him, but he had seen too much. His father would have a fit if he allowed him to leave the forest alive. He really would bring hell to his pack if he went to the police. Thinking about it, they would probably think he was mentally ill if he told them about werewolves. He bit his lip as he mentally debated and finally decided that he could never kill this man. He cleared his throat, he didn't know what to say, but the first thing was to get her down from the fucking tree.

He knew that if he tried to climb up, he would panic and fall. And he wouldn't survive. He had managed to climb high enough, but the branches were very thin and he was in danger of his weight breaking them.

"You can go down, I promise you're safe."

He licked his lips, "Go away and I'll come down when you're gone."

He hesitated and wished it were that simple, "I'll walk you to your car or wherever you were before they caught you, I swear I won't hurt you. I know you're in shock, but no one will hurt you, as long as when I'm around."

He shook his head and the wind hit his face, "You just have to go, get out!"

That surprised him as much as it amused him, "Did you say 'Get Out'?" The man hesitated, "I didn't do anything to you."

He saw him turn his head to look around the area and anger instantly returned when she saw the bruise on his jaw. Someone had hit him with a fist. He had very pale skin and the fact that he seemed to be smaller than most humans made it worse. He decided that he would give the pups a beating of monumental proportions when he laid his hands on them for what they had done to this man.

"I know you're in shock and I can tell you're really scared, but I swear you're safe now, I'm San" he paused when he realized he'd given him his name, shit "I'm sure that branch will end up breaking and it will fall on you, please come down.

"I'm not stupid, you're trying to trick me."

He did not blame him for fear or suspicion of him. He had to be traumatized as hell. Not only had they attacked and chased him, he had also seen them change shape and that scared the hell out of the humans. It wasn't helping that he was naked either, he'd probably think he was a fucking pervert. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly.

"I don't think you're stupid, but I do think you're terrified, they've run away, but that doesn't mean they're not still in the forest. If I leave you and you try to get out of here on your own, you could run into several of them again. I know You don't know me, but you saw me kick them out. You saw me hit one of them when I realized what they had done to you.

I give you my word that I will not harm you or allow anyone to harm you."

"You could be a big liar."

"It could be," he hid a smile, "You're right, let me put it this way, how long do you think you could survive in that tree? It's going to get dark soon and the temperatures will drop drastically.

Are you sure you want to spend a miserable cold night up there?" I doubt you'll come down when it's dark, because you could fall and you know you can't stay there indefinitely either. It'll just be a matter of time before they come back and try to come up for you. Right now you only have a chance to survive if you accept my safety. and protection."
