Tides of War (killer instinct fanfic)

Introduction #3: trouble.

It wasn't long before the three made it to the village, and a festival just so happened to be in place.

"Jesus Christ I can hear music right next to me, why is it so fucking loud!" Alex yelled over the music.

"Because you're right beside the stage!" Chelicerae yelled back at him.

"Oh." He realized and walked away while grumbling about Teke not telling him where he was. Meanwhile Teke was busy eating random food on the ground.

Zenaida was busy running around admiring everything she saw. Nearly knocking over Alex in the process.

"Girl, you need to calm down smoke a joint or something." Alex said while regaining his balance, before whistling loudly getting Teke's attention, and she flew to his shoulder.

"Hey chick with the name of a spiders anatomy! Where is the nearest inn?" Alex asked Chelicerae.

"*Sighs* just follow me "warlock"" she said sarcasticly, and walking to the other side of the small town.

Alex followed her while talking to Zenaida. "Why are women so hostile?"

"You just got to know how to talk to them wizard man." Zenaida said with a smile. "Plus it shouldn't be hard because she already has the hots for you. She's just hiding it."

Alex just laughed in response. "Good one kid. I got a face only a mother could love. Seriously the scars under these bandages are horrible."

Zenaida looked at him curious about what he looked like but decided to stay quiet, as they reached the inn.

"Well at least the noise died down...*Teke cawed loudly into his ear* Jesus Teke! I told you to never do that again! If you want to tell me something just do it normally!" Alex yelled at Teke, while Chelicerae and Zenaida just watched the scene unfold with confused expressions.

Alex was about to apologize to Teke for yelling at her before he heard a familiar voice.

"You! You will fucking pay for what you did!" Yelled a very familiar voice.

"Oh God not you again... What do you want fuck face?" Alex said not even bothering to face him

"You fucked up my teeth! I'm going to fuck you up!" Said the man from the tavern.

"Um, Alex do you know this man?" Chelicerae asked curiously.

Alex sighed and turned to her. "Sadly yes, and now I gotta beat the dog shit out of him."

Chelicerae's eyes widened and Zenaida stayed silent, as Alex twirled his staff and turned to Teke. "I'll apologize for yelling at you after we deal with this." Teke cawed and nodded before flying off his shoulder.

But before they could even start a Fulgore landed right on the man turning him into a bloody pulp.

Teke cawed loudly at Alex. "Ultratech." He said with disdain.

"Your surrender, would be wise." The Fulgore stated at Alex.

"Nah, I don't think I will." Alex said with a smirk before swinging his staff at the Fulgore sending a powerful blue blast of fire at it.

"Woah." Chelicerae said with wide eyes, as Zenaida looked on in fascination.

The Fulgore barely dodged the blast before charging at Alex.

Alex jumped out of the way, before swinging his staff at its head denting it. Causing it to malfunction and targeting Chelicerae.

Crescent quickly transformed into a staff and Chelicerae ran at it, jumping on its shoulders and flipping over it, before turning around, and drawing a spell circle sending a powerful strike of lightning at it hitting it right in the back.

The Fulgore barely was able to move after the strike but managed to turn around slowly before Alex smashed its head with his staff.

"God I hate ultratech..." Alex muttered to Teke.

Chelicerae walked up to him with a concerned expression. "You are wanted by ultratech?"

Alex nodded before Zenaida ran to the body of the fulgore, wanting to scavenge the remains of the mechanical warrior.

"Do you know the Immortal lotus?" Alex asked Chelicerae, while holding Zenaida from the body of the fulgore.

"The rebel alliance against ultratech? Oh, you're affiliated with them?" She asked.

"I'm actually the son of the chief. That immediately made me a enemy of ultratech." Alex said now holding up Zenaida while she looks disappointed.

"Oh." Chelicerae said as Crescent rubbed against her cheek. Alex chuckled. "They actually are probably looking for me. I ran to prove that dispite my blindness I could still be a warrior."

"And how do you plan to do that?" Chelicerae asked with an eyebrow raised.

Alex put down Zenaida, but kept a hand on her shoulder. "By finding and destroying Aria."

"So, you want to destroy the leader of ultratech, to save humanity I assume?" She asked.

Alex simply laughed. "Nah, fuck these parasites! Evil exists because of humanity, I'm glad I ain't one of them."

"Wait...what?" Chelicerae asked, as Crescent also chirped in confusion.

"What? You Think I was joking when I said that I was a warlock? No I wasn't." Alex said before turning around and walking off.

"Um Mr wizard man, the inn is right here." Zenaida said as she pointed at the inn.

"Of course it is." Alex said as he turned around once again.

Zenaida was about to lead Alex to the inn but Chelicerae spoke up. " I think you're hiding something."

" What the hell are you talking about?" Alex asked, as Teke cawed loudly at Chelicerae.

" You know what I'm talking about, your vague ass explanation!" She yelled at him.

" Don't ask questions you don't want to know the answers to." Alex said darkly before walking into the inn with the help of Teke.

" What do you think he is?" Zenaida asked having not lost her enthusiasm.

" I don't know, but he's more than a simple warlock. Now let's make sure he doesn't get kicked out shall we?" Chelicerae said before walking in as well followed by Zenaida.

(Meanwhile at a camp of the Immortal lotus)

"Ma'am, we think we found him." A soldier said as he entered Elizabeth's tent, as she was sharpening her axe.

"A blind kid with a crow assaulted a local at a nearby tavern." He continued.

Elizabeth sighed and facepalmed. " That's him."

"What's the course of action?"

"Search the nearby towns for him." She said before waving the soldier off.

"God, Alex your a dumbass but you are a powerful one."
