Proluge to: Living in the shadows

Loki was falling, there was only darkness, no sound, no light, no way out, it's the void after all. Odin had lied to him, he lied to the god of lies..how ironic. Loki always felt different from the other Asgardians but he never would have thought he was a Jötunn, a frost giant, a monster. He is the monster that parents tell their children to at night. It wasn't really a hard choice when he was dangling over the void, his life was officially ruined, he felt as if his will to live just disappeared, so he let go, he wanted to die, but death didn't want him...the mad Titan did. Loki had been in the void for 2 months before falling on an unfamiliar planet. Loki landed hard and was injured in the process. He had multiple broken bones, dislocated joints, fractures, bleeding wounds, bruises etc. He used his healing powers to try and heal himself as much as possible until someone found him, no not someone, a creature, and an ugly one at that. "Look what we have here and Aesir, I didn't think they could survive the void" said the creature who Loki learned later was named The Other. The Other spoke "bring him to lord Thanos, he might be of some use" the guards dragged Loki to a throne room and there sat the mad titan, Thanos. "What have you brought me The Other" Thanos asked in his cold, dark voice and The Other responded "an Asgardian lord Thanos" he said and Thanos had a questionable face "An Asgardian?" Thanos said "an Asgardian cannot survive the void, who are you?" Thanos asked Loki and Loki didn't respond till a guard punched him in the face and he spoke. "I am Loki....Prince of Asgard..." he said and Thanos smiled "your the prince of the all father Odin? Hmm" he said and smiled a bit and spoke to Loki "You could be of use to me" he said and Loki's mind instantly started racing. "Help me get the tesseract on Terra (that's earth btw)" Thanos said and Loki chuckled slightly "I would never work for you, you retched creature" Loki said and Thanos smiled and chuckled which Loki wouldn't ever admit it but it made his blood run cold "You will learn, Guards take the little prince here and do whatever you please with him then put him in a cell" Thanos said. He stood up and walked over to Loki and raised his chin so Loki would look at him. "You will learn in time, we have very persuasive techniques" he said darkly.

1 year, that's how long Thanos tortured Loki. A whole year. Until finally Loki's mind broke and Thanos got the mind stone through Loki's head and controlled him. Loki was Thanos's puppet now. "Go to Terra and get me the Tesseract and in exchange you will have your war and rule Terra" Thanos told Loki and gave him the scepter before opening a portal and shoving Loki through it. Loki's time on Earth was a blur. Germany, The Avengers, The hellcarrier, seeing his brother again, all of it. The Control on Loki only broke when Hulk Smashed him to the ground but now he was free of the control. After Loki was Hulk-Smashed he looked around the tower and the avengers seemed too focused on the invasion to see Loki who literally caused the invasion. They were too busy with the Chitauri so Loki decided he could escape. Once he gained enough strength he powered up his magic teleported away from the tower.
