As the doors closed, I finally took in my surroundings surveying the classroom. Paper planes scattered the floor. I decided to check the singular desk standing in the middle of the room. I opened it up. Rations, an extra set of clothes, a notebook, and a guidebook sat neatly inside. I decided to open up the guidebook. Different plants and animals scattered the pages. A very informative yet small book. The names of each organism were listed. Along with their possible of how dangerous they were.
I closed my new guidebook. I looked over the rations. There were only seven. I was told that I would be here for about a month, but this doesn't look like a lot of food. I sighed. Closed everything. A little paper slip came through the door suddenly. It read. "Do you resign?" A question that shocked me. I put 'no' instantly. I wasn't a quiter. Ok, that's a lie. I dropped out of school. But, I refuse to keep wasting my life. This career choice was something that I spent time and energy researching I refuse to give it up.
