Merciless, shrouded, and oppressive was what Victoria Park looked like on that godforsaken morning. The early morning was usually calm, serene, and tranquil, but not this one. Merciless rain covered every inch of the park, not leaving one leaf dry. Gloomy clouds shrouded the earth from the sun's light. The oppressive wind dragged dead leaves and water droplets around like a tornado. The tears that the clouds wept helped the wind achieve its goal.
Never had the sky looked so solemn. Never had an early morning been so ear-splitting. Never had Tobi felt so alone. He always had his little sunshine with him, but not on that morning he didn't
A murder of crows flew into the trees for shelter, hiding from the relentless and merciless rain to hide . They were hiding from the oppressive mass of blanketed clouds shrouding the glimpsing orbs in the sky. The orbs were half as bright as the orbs in his little sunshine eyes. The rain hit Tobi just as hard as Tobi's words hit Hinata. Tobi's entire body was shaking just slightly, nevertheless, he could feel it. He knew it wasn't from the cold, wet rain or the restless nights. He had not slept well after the argument. Hinata was his rock, but now Hinata doesn't want anything to do with him. But the last thing on his mind was sleep. As he felt the grass in between his fingers, the biting cold danced on his fingertips. The more he struggled, the more he felt guilty the more he struggled, the more yearned for his best friend. His Hinata. The crows cawed at the foggy, grey sky. The crows were practically yelling at him, Tobi grabbed his phone to call Hinata, but it was dead already. He saw his reflection on the screen. He was disgusted by what he saw. He dropped his phone into the wet grass. His tears crystallised and blended into the shower of aggressive icy rain. The last thing he remembered before everything faded was the clouds pulled apart, revealing..... The orbs in the sky, luminous orbs, reminded him of Hinata and how he was the ray of light in his life.
The looming orb in the sky reminded him of Hinata and how he was the only ray of light Kagayama had ever had. The loss of HIS light made Tobi's heartache. The ache in his heart felt like a knife formed out of his own volition. Kagayama closed his eyes as he breathed out a sigh, he thought about last year's championship. Not the sun illuminated the bus, or the sounds of crows outside, or even the chatter of his teammates could have described him from Hinata. Warm little breaths he let out on Kageyama's skin while he napped. Warmer was the sunlight bleeding into the bus through the now closed blinds. Warmest was the glowing of his Breathtaking smile, the only thing that could melt the icicles that were in tobi's heart.
He smiled at him, he smiled back. This was the only thing Kageyama needed; it was perfect.
Kageyama opened his eyes, tears rushed through his face, but these weren't tears of sadness, they were tears of joy.... He saw hinata. He emerged like an angel sent by the heavens he was right in front of him. The hug hinata gave to tobi felt like hinata had just ripped out the knife that was staked in to Kageyama's heart. And filled the void with love and shared warmth, hugging him at the time maid all the pain fade into dust
Tobi looked back at Vicky park but he saw the familiar park not quite the same as he remembered. Quiet, tranquil, cosy. The Quiet breaths they shared. The tranquil humming of nature around them. The cosy feeling of holding him in his arms like he used to. As hinata wiped the tears off of kageyama's face, he smiled brighter than he had ever before, they shared a soft and tender kiss. Kageyama felt complete.
