The adventuress kit-hood of Haze.

Chapter One

Hazekit winced as she snugged up against her mother's stomach. Her eyes were forced closed as she mewled. Erminearch tried to hush her kit, but no matter what she did Hazekit kept yowling. Slightstar scrunched up his nose at the kit's bellowing. Hazekit's mewling died down, but she kept whining as she squirmed around.

(One Moon Later)

Hazekit pounceed onto Milkweedpaw's tail and giggled, falling over.

'Ahh! Mighty Hazekit has defeated me! Bleh..' Milkweedpaw dramatically fell onto the ground, his tounge flopping out of his mouth.

'I did it! I did it!' Hazekit stood on top of the 'dead' Milkweedpaw.

Her paw slipped and she tumbled down the side of him. She giggled again, her smile so big it took up most of her face.

He nuzzled her paw, standing up to shake the dust of his pelt.

'Hazekit!' Erminearch called out. 'Bed time!'

Hazekit frowned. 'I have to go Milkweedpaw.. bye!'

'Goodbye Hazekit. Goodnight, too.' He touched his nose to hers.

Hazekit padded off, her tail held high.

(Sunhigh the next day)

Hazekit bounded out of the nursery, giggling as another kit chased her. His name was Flamekit. He had a fiery, ginger/red pelt. He was cute, Hazekit supposed. One of the kits to yet another queen was head over heels for him. Hazekit couldn't see why. Flamekit showed no interest in her anyways. Why couldn't she just take the hint? Speaking of her, the cream colored kit strutted out of the nursery. She had her fur freshly groomed, obviously trying to catch Flamekit's attention. He took a quick glance at her, and looked back at Hazekit.

'Let's just try and ignore her. We know she's just gonna try and flirt with me,' Flamekit mewled.

Hazekit nodded. 'Do you think we could play truth or dare?' Hazekit asked Flamekit.

'Sure!' He meowed back.

'Could I play too?' Jadekit strided closer, sitting next to Flamekit with a smile. Flamekit inched closer to Hazekit instead, uncomfortable.

Hazekit and Flamekit looked at eachother, coming up with a choice.

'Fine' they both said.

Jadekit smirked at Flamekit. 'If you didn't let me, I would of told on you! Not you, Flamekit, but Hazekit deserves it!'

Flamekit growled. 'Leave my friend alone, freak!' He screeched.

Jadekit flinched. 'I-It's okay! I still won't tell!'

'Go tell anyone! I don't care! Don't you see I'm not into you? Take the hint!' People closer to them were listening in.

'...' Jadekit was silent, clearly shocked. 'You have quite a nerve!'

'Maybe I just decided to speak up after so much of having to cooperate with you and your annoying personality! You never take hints! You can play! But I swear if you make me do something romantic I will kick you out!'

Jadekit pouted. She suddenly lunged at Flamekit, anger flaring in her eyes. Hazekit's instincts kicked in and she immediately jumped in front of Flamekit, smacking Jadekit to the ground in defense. Jadekit winced, snapping at Hazekit.

'You foxheart!' Jadekit whimpered. Her pelt was covered in dirt. 'You know, I'll still play..'

Hazekit sighed. She was still going to play? Great.

Flamekit sat next to Hazekit, seeming very cozy.

'Can I go first?' Flamekit asked.

'O-' Hazekit was interrupted by Jadekit.
