The ice shattered, and the waters below extended their liquid fingers to grab our cute group of drones.
Doll's metal spire trick certainly did the job, as all five drones and one human were knocked off their feet and onto the rapidly degrading ice sheet below, scars and wounds opening up and allowing the upsetted characters to fall right through into the abyss below.
One particularly thick section of the ice sheet did not collapse into tears of frozen water, however, and instead flipped into a vertical position, with the former ground now being a steep drop into the moist veil beneath and the side of this part of the ice coating now pointed directly into the air. Clutching onto this with her claws digging into its frosty skin for dear life, was a desperate and terrified Serial Designation J.
"Shit! Dammit V, help me out!" J yelled out, receiving no response in return as V was dealing with her own problems, desperately scrambling to get away from the water that was rapidly closing in on her. A crunch, and J directed her gaze downward, seeing that Uzi was clinging to the ice of the ice float for dear life, shaking like a bell as she rapidly directed her gaze to and from the liquid abyss below her to the slippery and highly unstable ice she was gripping.
Uzi was panicking, she couldn't swim well. It had never really mattered until then as all lakes and oceans on Copper-9 had been plunged into a flash freeze as a symptom of the core collapse, but now?
Now shit was hitting the fan.
Snapping her head upwards, Uzi locked eyes with a smug J, still acting like a corporate hateful suckup despite the precarious situation. However, times were tough, and Uzi came to a decision, her motherboard narrowing down this as the best option for survival. She couldn't believe she was about to do this, but she had not other choice
She asked J for help.
"Hey, J! Uhh, so I know we were just fighting like 5 seconds ago, but you mind giving me a hand?" Uzi asked, cautiously taking one of her hands off the ice to reach out to the murder drone perched above her, yellow optics looking down into her purple ones. However, J's mouth morphed into a smirk rather quickly, as she pointed back and laughed at Uzi's misfortune.
"Hah! Skill issue!'' The female disassembly drone mocked her opponent, bursting into a fit of laughter afterward. A grimace on Uzi's face was triggered and she grabbed onto a looser chunk of ice dangling off the main float, just small enough to fit comfortably into her palm. With a hail-mary throw, Uzi tossed the ice pebble at J's visor, the little piece of frozen water striking harmlessly against the hard glass material of her visor.
But that was all that was needed.
Due to her claws only barely offering her purchase on the ice float, the small amount of force produced by the ice pebble was just barely enough to make her slip from her uneasy perch, sending her tumbling head-over-heels into the water below.
"OOP! GOING DOWN!" J almost reported before striking the water, submerging in the millisecond that followed. Uzi's ice throw trick had also cost her dearly, as she too fell from the ice float and down into the raging waves below.
"DESTROY MY ANIME COLLECTION!" was the last thing the worker drone blurted out before being consumed by the rippling liquids. Doll smirked at Uzi's misfortune, only for her optics to hollow out in terror. Looking down, Doll was more so disappointed than surprised to see that the ice beneath her had all but shattered, leaving only thin air between her feet and the water below. As per gravity and its oppressing laws, Doll found herself tumbling into the water.
"BLYAAAAAAAA-" the angry Russian screamed before her profanity was muffled by the ocean and its fingers of liquid. V watched the solver stan disappear into the one weakness of any robot ever, and instead of being happy, she looked... angry? This stupid zombie bitch had nearly killed her, twice! And she thought a bit of water was going to allow her escape, either dead or alive!? Hell no, if anyone was going to kill her, it would be V.
