Max goes to pull her car in front of the small little cottage house with land all around it, her going to leave out of her car and open the gate, her closing it behind her and walking to the simple looking house, seeing Terrence in his rocking chair looking down at a book, some nice country music playing on the small radio he has placed beside him.
"Grandpa." Max goes up the steps.
Terrence looks up at her and smiles. "Hey there sweetheart!"
"Hey." Max replies with a smile. "Watcha reading?"
"Oh nothing, just looking at some memories. Here come sit." He motions towards the chair, Max going to pull up the chair and sit down next to him. "There's your Uncle Brett when we were tryin to give him a bath. He hated baths when he was young."
"Sounds like Enzo and Nic when they were younger." Max laughs, her staring at the many pictures of the memory book. "Grandma was so pretty."
"Yes your grandma Silvia was the best, most sweetest but stubborn woman you could ever know." Terrence says making Max laugh. "Oh look! That is when Susan said her first word. When we were trying to take her toys from her and put her to bed, her first word she screamed out was MINE!" He exclaims.
Max laughs, her staring down at the picture. She likes coming to the little cottage house to visit Terrence, it is a home away from home she likes to come to just sit out in the nice grass with her music in and her just reading away, her coming here when she needs a break from the Villa, from the boys and from Sam.
She enjoys Terrence's company as well, yes him being a stubborn old man but he holds wisdom, and just like Susan he wants her to make her own name for herself and he pushes her to do so.
"Now, what has you lookin all bothered?" Terrence asks, him pouring himself more orange juice.
Max sighs. "Me and Vin got into it."
"Do I need to hit him with my cane?"
"No grandpa." Max laughs. "But....I applied to the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and got accepted."
"No you didn't!" Terrence says with a big smile. "My granddaughter is going to kick all of these other fashion lines to the curb! That's amazing sweetheart!"
"Thanks Grandpa but Dad is refusing for me to go, he doesn't want me to go." Max says. "I know part of it stems from my Auntie Maxine but I know the other part is just his demanding over-protective and controlling self. I want to make my own name like mom did, you know?"
Terrence sighs out. "Oh what a complicated situation, sweetheart." He says. "You know when Susan was your age she came to me sayin how she wanted to be a lawyer and I got so mad about it, I wanted her to follow in her mothers footsteps and be a nurse."
