~ Finn's POV ~
Beep beep beep
(Ugh not today) Today is the first day of school for me. Junior year.
I miss being back home. I miss seeing the beach outside my window, miss seeing my friends, and miss the hectic life. But I can tell this year is gonna be better for not only me, but the family. As I'm getting ready I don't feel like doing much. Kurt says I should put more effort into what I wear, but I don't really care since I'm not and I quote a fashionista. It seems more colder but not Antartica cold. I just throw on shirt with a flannel and my denim jacket. Then I just put a pair of jeans and shoes. After I just put a hand through my hair and look in the mirror. (Eh good enough) As I head to the kitchen I think about that girl I saw yesterday, Rachel. Hopefully I get to see her. (Wow I'm sounding like a girl. Stop it Finn, you just got here don't deal with girls right now.)
"Hey mom, Kurt." I say while I kiss my mom's cheek. Kurt looks at me weirdly and I don't understand why..
"Hi honey, excited for your first day of school?"
"Not really, but school is school" I say with a shrug. To be honest I'm never excited to start a new school. Sure I was popular at my old school, but I don't want to deal with the drama that happened last year.
"What's up, Kurt?"
"I see you finally decided to get your outfits on check. I'm proud of you big bro" Kurt says as he wipes a fake tear. (Oh so that's what it's about)
"Really, Kurt. I just threw whatever on, but thanks I guess." I look at the clock on the wall. oh sh*t I'm gonna be late.
"I have to go before I'm late for school. Let's go Kurt. Bye mom, Burt" I say as Burt walks in.
Couple minutes later arriving at school...
As I exit the car with Kurt everyone seems to be staring at Kurt. I take my aviators off and whisper, "Why is everyone staring at you?"
"They are not staring at me you big lug. They're staring at the new kid aka you." Kurt whispered back while walking away.
After I put my sunglasses back on I realized I was just standing there, so I catch up to Kurt. While we were walking to the office to get my schedule. There were a bunch of whispering around me, well not whispering when you can hear it.
"Is that the new kid?"
"He's hot!"
"Wow he's tall."
"I so got dibs on him."
"I wonder if he's dating anyone?"
"I hope I have classes with him"
After hearing those comments it gave me a little bit of a confidence boost, but I don't care what they think. Hopefully that won't last long. When we entered the office we stopped in front of a lady at a desk. Rephrase that she actually looked our age. She had glasses and had black hair. She seemed harmless, despite the fact that she doesn't notice us when we were standing right in front of her.
"Eh-hem" Kurt does trying to get her attention.
Once she looks up her eyes go wide and blush, "I'm so sorry. How may I help you two?" Clearly embarrassed.
"Hi, it's alright. It's just I'm new here and um would like to get my schedule please." I say remembering the manners that mom always told me to use; even though I'm growing a little impatient.
"Oh, of course. What's your name?"
"Finn Hudson"
"Ok, give me a few minutes." As she rushes out of our view to what I assume where the printer was.
