Author's Note – A Little Message From Me to You 🖤
Hi there!
Before you dive into Shadows of Desire (or continue reading), I just wanted to take a moment to talk to you, reader to reader.
This book has been with me for a long time. I first wrote it years ago, back when I didn't really plan anything — I just wrote what I felt. The characters, the drama, the love, the chaos — it all came straight from the heart, without rules or structure.
At some point, I decided to unpublish the book.
Why? Because I knew it needed care. I had grown since I first wrote it, and I wanted to come back and give it the time and love it deserved.
So now... you're reading the new version of Shadows of Desire. I've edited every chapter, added a lot, changed some things, and tried to make the story stronger while keeping its original heart.
But I need to be honest with you:
This story might still feel a little messy sometimes.
A CEO might suddenly become a king. A stranger might turn into someone important halfway through. Characters may appear and change without much warning. And the plot? Well, it sometimes jumps or swirls around in unexpected ways.
I know that. I see it. And I still love it.
Because this book wasn't meant to be perfect — it was meant to feel. It was about passion, risk, desire, secrets, and the kind of love that makes everything else blur. That's why I wrote it then, and that's why I decided to bring it back now.
So please, if you notice some flaws or confusing moments, be kind — this is a story that grew with me. A story I wrote not to impress, but to express. And if you're here reading it, that means the world to me.
Thank you for giving this story your time. Thank you for meeting Jungkook and Lisa. And thank you for letting me share a piece of my heart with you.
Lots of love,
— Luna 🖤
