Bad luck follows me wherever I go

Caroline is a 16 year old high school student. She has major depression and is ready to take her life any day now. One rainy day she was walking home from school . She was walking until she heard a sound in an alleyway. She turned to look at the source of that sound and she saw a small puppy. The puppy was wet and malnourished all alone in the rain. " Should I help it , yeah I should , wait, mom would kill me if I brought it home and I have never felt like this for a stray, hmm..., Ahh! fuck that all i'll take it" Caroline thought. She picked up the puppy and started to walk home. (At home) "Mom , i'm back ", Caroline said "okay honey sit down, I made your favourite cookies, omg" Caroline's mother said with a tray of hot chocolate chip cookies while looking at her. Shocked by seeing the puppy in her daughter's hands Caroline's mother slowly felt a sensation of anger and screamed at her daughter" how dare you bring that stray inside my home , are you that dumb , even though you know I don't like stray pets you still brought a stray animal home , are you even my daughter". While Caroline's mother is screaming at her she couldn't do anything but fall on her knees and cry. After a whole hour of scolding her mother finally calmed down. Seeing how much her daughter wanted that puppy she said "okay fine,i'll let you keep it ". After hearing her mother's acceptance she ran to her room and locked the door. She sat at the door put the puppy down and started to cry. Crying for what feels like hours she felt something lacking her . She saw her puppy licking her and she finally felt a sense of happiness and comfort . She decided to call her puppy Naomi from that day on. This is how the neverending friendship started. Caroline's friends were using her and talking behind her back and she gets, being sad she comes but Naomi was there waiting with a smile on her face ready to give licks to Caroline when she comes home . Time passed and Caroline graduated, she was cured from depression and got herself a man.

Caroline is 21 now. She is getting ready for her date at the blue moon restaurant. The restaurant is very fancy and romantic. Caroline put on her best dress "will he propose tonight, I hope he does", Caroline thought with a smile on her face . "Eat your food okay Naomi, i'll be back in two hours", Caroline said to Naomi in a cute way. Caroline left home, luckily the blue moon restaurant is just 20 minutes away from her home. As she was walking she heard some weird noises like sounds of someone in pain in a dark alley. Caroline being the curious woman she is went to the alley sneakily. After a while she made it to the source of the sound and what see saw made her heartbroken. She saw her boyfriend making out with another girl. Caroline couldn't even move a muscle she watched them make out with each other.
When they finished and left she ran back home crying.

She came home and immediately ran into her bedroom. While crying she thought " that fucking idiot , what does that hoe have that I don't have , am I not good enough?, am I ugly?, you know what I should just die right now ,at least i'll be in peace", Caroline thought while opening her bathroom door. She took out her razor ready to cut her wrist. Just as she was about to cut her arm she heard some strange noises outside her room the noise went like " ku ,ku...". She opened the door and Naomi ran to her and tackled her on the floor and started licking her to make her happy. "Ohh! Naomi I wish you were a human at least you would be by my side and love me ", Caroline said while a small smile appeared on her face . That night she slept on the floor with Naomi in her arms.

Days have passed after that day , Caroline is trying to recover from that incident. In the afternoon, Caroline was making lunch when she got a call. She picked up the call "hello" said Caroline "hello miss, are you miss Caroline" said the unknown caller " yes I am " said Caroline " okay, miss your have been hired as a captain at NASA " said the unknown caller "really " said Caroline "yes , so, miss you have to come in three days" said the caller "okay " said Caroline. She hung up and started to do a happy dance with Naomi. Soon she started moving . While she was packing up she left the front door open which gave Naomi the perfect chance to escape. After Caroline finished packing, she was relaxing when she realized that Naomi was missing. She became very frustrated. The sun was starting to set . She went out searching for Naomi. From alleyways , to the roads , in the darkest corner to many more places , but still no sign of Naomi. After searching for hours she decided to stop searching and take some rest. The next day she woke up very tensioned "only two days before I leave , there's still no sign of Naomi", Caroline thought. She went out of the house and started to look for Naomi . The sun started to set and she couldn't find Naomi. She lost hope and went home thinking she would never find Naomi , when suddenly she saw some fur that looked like Naomi's fur. She looked to the side and saw a trail of fur. She followed that trail of fur when suddenly she saw some blood in the fur. Even though she was scared she still decided to go forward. She made it to the end and she saw the lifeless body of Naomi being eaten by a group of street dogs. Caroline couldn't handle the mm and fainted on the cold road.
