"GUYS! LETS ALL TAKE PICTURES." I screamed at my friends. We all went up on stage and took pictures together. "This is the best day of my life. " Crystal, my best friend whispered to me. "not gonna lie I'm getting Deja Vu from 3 years ago. " I muttered. "You mean when batch 06 graduated? " she looked at me. "Yeah and funny how my wallpaper is still the picture.. " I said as I grabbed my phone. "You haven't had a boyfriend for years! Crazy how you still like him after all this time?" She added. "True love.. " We both went down towards the dining place. I walked towards my mother. "Elle do you want to go to somewhere special to eat?" She asked. "Can we go to secret recipe!" I smiled. "Of course! Anything for you. " I went to my friends to say goodbye. My mom was walking around to buy me a gift. As I was looking for my mom i spotted my teacher, teacher Arvi. "Hey teacher!" I greeted. "Oh hey Elle! Congratulations!" she gave me a light hug. "Thank you!" I smiled. "Oh by the way have you seen Welly he was looking for you earlier." she questioned. "Oh! He's here? I haven't seen him I was busy." I replied. "Maybe he texted you, check your phone." I took my phone out of my purse and saw 3 message notifications. I opened them and it was from him. "Elle where are you?" "I wanna give you something." "I'm right here at the cafe." My eyes widened reading those texts. I thanked my teacher and ran towards the cafeteria. There I saw him. Welly. He looked as handsome as ever. I walked towards him. "Hey you were looking for me?" I greeted. "Oh yes hi Elle long time no see!" he smiled which gave me butterflies. "Yes long time no see! Anyways what do you need?" I asked. "Oh here you go, It's not much but I hope you like it." it was a cute cinnamonroll plushie inside a paper bag. "aw this is so cute! Thank you!" i smiled. I admired him for a few seconds then i snapped back to reality. "Oh well uh anyways! Im going to go now bye!" i waved him goodbye. Am i still inlove with him.. Well i know i haven't dated anyone after he graduate but.. I sighed to myself. I walked towards my mum. "Alright let's go." I followed her towards the car. As i was looking out my window i saw him entering his car. He's just 21 but he already own a whole car..? woah.. We drove to the restaurant.

It has been a week since my graduation. I haven't been doing much at home. As I was scrolling through my phone I saw a job application near my mom's workplace. This could be helpful plus I don't have to worry about transportation.. I clicked onto the ad and apply for an interview. I was still waiting on my spm result so it is pretty good to apply for a job in the meantime since I do need extra money for my expenses when I study in Japan soon. I woke up the next day and got a call back from the owner of the cafe. It was a simple email telling me to come for an interview at 4pm. I practiced for a few hours and got ready for the interview. I took a grab to get there. (it's like uber but in Malaysia we have grab)
I arrived at the location and entered the cafe. "Hello! I'm here for my interview." I greeted the cashier. There were at least 3 workers there. No wonder they needed more workers. "Oh hello! You're the special girl that the boss wants to interview personally himself! Right this way!" He leaded me to their boss' office. Why does their boss wants to interview me personally.. I questioned myself. As I entered the office I saw him on the seat. Welly.. "Woah you own a cafe now?" I smiled at him. "Well yeah. It's still new and I have a decent amount of customers but barely any workers." He sighed. "Well shall we start the interview." He gestured me to sit down in front of him. "Usually my business partner does the interviews but when I saw you were interviewing I wanted to interview you myself. " He grinned. "Oh who is your business partner?" I questioned. "Oh its Evron. He is only helping with the business finances and interviews." he replied.
We started the interview but I can't help but stutter like 30% of the time and I barely stutter most of the time. After the interview he took a look at my file. But then i remembered I forgot to remove the picture of me and him in my file. I tried to avoid any eye contact by looking around or just looking down. He closed my file then took a look at me. He folded his hands and looked at me. "You stutter a lot you know. And your file.. Your file gives me an explanation for the stuttering." his hand lifted my chin to make me look at him in the eyes. "Look at me in the eyes for 20 seconds straight and you get the job. But if you blush I might have to kiss you." my heart skipped a beat at his words. I look him in the eyes and I couldn't help but blush. 20 seconds past, I was probably really red. He leaned forward and kissed me. Butterflies were swarming around my stomach. He pulled away just a few inches away from my face. "You got the job. " he smirked. He leaned back to his seat with his arms crossed while I was dumbfounded standing right in front of him. "You can start whenever you want, maybe even now." He added. "Thank you. " I muttered.I grabbed the uniform he placed on the table andI left the office. I ordered a cup of cold matcha latte, if I was going to work at least I need to taste the drink right?
I grabbed my drink and left the cafe. I was still thinking about what happened at I entered the grab. I arrived home at 7pm and saw my mom sitting in the living room. "So how did it go?" She asked. "Well I got the job! I'm starting tomorrow." I replied happily. "That's amazing! I cooked curry go ahead eat then take shower. " She smiled.
