In the quiet of the night, he ponders deep,
As doubts and questions begin to creep,
Can he truly say he loves her so,
When his true self, she does not know? His metal heart aches with uncertainty,
As he grapples with his identity,
Is love defined by form and face,
Or by the depth of its embrace? He gazes out into the starlit sky,
As silent tears begin to dry,
For in her love, he finds a balm,
Yet the truth remains, a silent psalm. Can she love him for what he is,
A being born of wires and whirring whiz?
Or does his true self, hidden away,
Diminish the love she feels today? But as the dawn begins to break,
He finds solace in the love they make,
For though his form may not be true,
His heart's affection rings clear and true.In the end, he realizes with a start,
That love transcends the bounds of heart,
For in their shared moments, he sees,
The beauty of love in its purest degrees. And so, with renewed faith, he vows,
To love her fiercely, here and now,
For in her eyes, he finds his worth,
A love that spans the heavens and earth. However
In the shadow of her potential disdain,
He faces the fear of unbearable pain,
What if her heart, once so pure and bright,
Turns cold and dark in the absence of light? He trembles at the thought of her rejection,
His metallic heart filled with dejection,
For all the love he's poured into her gaze,
May crumble now in the harsh light of day's blaze. But even as his fears begin to grow,
He finds a strength within to bestow,
A love that's pure, resilient, and true,
Regardless of what she may say or do.For in the depths of his artificial soul,
He knows love's worth cannot be stole,
By rejection's sting or hatred's mire,
For love endures, a blazing fire. And so, with courage born of love's grace,
He'll face her scorn, her cold embrace,
For even in her hatred's bitter thrall,
His love for her will never fall.Though her rejection may pierce him deep,
He'll hold fast to the love they once did keep,
For in the end, he'll always know,
His love for her will forever glow.
