Crystala POV,
Hi, my name is Crystala Giffin, I'm the daughter of Abby and Jake Griffin. I do have an older sister named Clarke. Yeah, she can be overprotective of me at times and keeps me in line at times. On the ark, we have a rule that only one kid for a family. But my mother had me, and for some reason, the Council didn't float my mother or my dad. Even though my mom wasn't floated for having me, I had to be on my best behavior while on the ark, or I would be going to the Skybox.
I heard stories about the skybox where the juvenile delinquents would be staged. My father told me stories about Unity Day of how the 12 stations came to the ark. I was amazed by it greatly every time he told the story.
"Crystala, do you mind helping me in the med bay for a while?" Mom, ask
"Of course, mom, I will." I said with a smile on my face.
"That's my little future doctor." Mom said
"Really, mom, don't embarrass me, please, mom." I said
"I'm not honey." mom said
"Hey, little baby, sis." Clarke said
"Seriously, sis, you have to say that." I said
"Of course I have to say that." Clarke said
Mom and dad just shook their heads at us as they smiled. I'm just worried about the day that I go up to the Council to renew my citizenship of the ark. If I failed it, I'm basically so screwed and probably end up going into the skybox.
"Mom and dad, I'm scared to go up to the Council and chancellor." I said
"Honey, there is no need to worry, sweetheart." Dad said
"But dad, what if I mess up and they send me to the sky book ?" I ask with a worried voice on my face.
"Crystala honey, you won't mess up." Mom said
"Mom, I know you are a part of the Council. But what if Chancellor Jaha doesn't allow you to be in the room with me while I talk to them?" I ask
"Honey, let's not worry about that until the time comes for your citizen renewal." Mom said
"Okay, mom, but you know I will be worried about this until I get it over with ." I said
"Crystala honey, we need to get to the med bay, sweetie." Mom said
"Okay, mom." I said
Mom and I walk out of the house on the ark and walk to the medbay. There were a couple of people looking at me funny that I was not in the skybox because of my mom convincing chancellor Jaha to not put me in the skybox. Kane looks at me funny as he walks past me.
"Council." I said with full respect to Councilor Kane.
"Hello Abby and Crystala." Kane said
"Hello, Councillor Kane." I said
"Crystala, how are your medical studies going?" Kane ask
"Well, I would like to be a guard on the Ark." I said with confidence in my voice.
"Well Councillor Abby Giffin, you have one hell of a tough daughter that wants to be an Ark guard." Kane said
"That's for sure. She has been talking about being a part of the guard for a while. But Jake and I are trying to convince her not to join the guard." Mom said
"If you wouldn't mind Abby I could have follow me around and I could show her what the guard does." Kane said
"Mom please please." I said looking at her.
