Murder in Adventure Bay// Interactive Story

Chapter 4

From now on, to make the different scenes more noticeable, I will list the names of whoever is in the group before the scene change. Also, if you haven't, please go to the  very first part of this book and read the rules. They will help you, and make counting votes a tad bit simpler. Thank you. Now on to the story.

Ryder, Shade, and Rory

  "I don't know if I feel comfortable letting you go alone," Shade said. "You could get hurt. We're coming with you".

  Ryder smiled.

  "I appreciate your concern, but-".

  "No but's about it. We're coming. Have fun stopping us".

  "Alright. Let's go we have to hurry".

  Ryder, Shade, and Rory began down the hallway.

  "We don't even know where to go," Rory said. "Coral could be anywhere".

  "Which is why we have to find her". Ryder kept his gaze focused ahead. The beam of the flashlight cast eerie shadows on the walls.

  "This is kinda scary," Rory said. She pressed herself closer against Shade.

  "Don't worry, Rory," Shade purred. "We are all together. We can protect ourselves".

Rocky, Skye, Everest, Ella, and Roxi

  After Rocky was informed of Wildcat's disappearance, the rest of the group set out to follow the passageway that looked before them.

  "This is really the only way he could have gone," Skye said.

  "Unless he found a trapdoor," Ella snapped.

  "Sheesh. Who got your tail twisted"?

  "This whole killing thing did. I mean, do you not know how ridiculous this is? What motive does anyone have to kill anyone"?

  "I know what you mean. I don't know who to trust anymore".

Rex and Marshall

  Rex and Marshall finally found the strength to continue on their way back to the office.

  "This is all my fault," Marshall whispered.

  "No, Marshall, none of this is your fault".

  Marshall looked over to his companion.

  "Of course it's my fault. If I would have just not been a pinhead, Zuma would be alive right now". He looked back down at his paws.

  Rex sighed sadly, but kept quiet. Not only had they lost a teammate and dear friend, but they also knew, Marshall first-hand, that one of them was cold-hearted enough to slaughter one of them without a second thought.

Chase, Wild, Al, Tracker, and Leo

  Chase and Wild stared at each other for several more seconds.

  "What do we do?" Wild said.

  "We have to tell them".

  Just then, a knock sounded on the door.

  Everyone froze. Who was that? A killer?

  "You guys, why's the door closed"?

  Everyone released a sigh. It was Rex.

  "Someone locked us in here!" Al replied.

  "Well, if it helps, there's a key in the lock on this side. Let me unlock the door for you". A click was heard and the door opened, revealing Marshall and Rex.
