To Sum It Up

Hello.

Hope all is well. Thank you for reading this. I'll try to make it worth your while.

Boom!!!

Boom! Again.

Spaceships were everywhere. Unicorns flying, giants and elves running, sharks and stuff...

Lol. Just kidding.

On a more serious note.

I had a friend who I loved to talk to and just talk. She was beautiful. Great sense of humor. We would laugh and laugh and laugh. I'd remind her of something she said or did and she would recall some of my many antics. People would look at us and listen to us go back and forth. We didn't even notice how many people were watching us.

At these times, it was just the two of us, in our own world with just enough room for two. She was one of the few people I was taller than. She said she was like five foot four. I would look at her and say,

"Yeah right. More like four foot five."

She would respond,

"Look at you, you're like a inch taller than I am. You have to stand on something to reach the cabinets too."

I would say,

"Take that back. I'm something like a giant compared to you. I gotta be at least what, six foot five?"

She'd say,

"Yeah right, more like five foot six."

I am five foot six actually. She might be five foot two, five foot, a buck and one cent soak and wet.

She'd say

"Thank you."

She appreciates that unintentional compliment on her weight and I appreciate her presence. Our colors did not come into factor. Our race was irrelevant. Our cultures and personalities are what we found fascinating about each other. Even though our colors were not a factor, as I mentioned before, our skin tones are radiant. Her skin tone was like a gorgeous aura, and I would tell her this often. She described mine as a sort of Hershey-like shade of brown, with or without almonds.

I'll take that. Then we would walk to the vending machine.

She was from the enchanting land of Mexico, and I from DeRidverside, Caliana. We were a harmonious shade of brown and black together just enjoying each other's company. Once upon a time.

I miss her. I really do.

This was before Vision Clareign. This was Eno. It was a sad day when I had to leave fond memories that bring a smile to my face and tears from my soul. I bet we both could use a hug right now.

To quote the poet Styles P,

"Could this be my last life, maybe my past life is the future when I sleep, so what was last night?" from "Alone In The Streets."

The title "Alone In The Streets" could be my theme song. Eno in swaheli means "Gift" or a "Surprise" and also "One" spelled backwards. Ooooooooh.
