You have found the backdoor to the castle after searching for a few minutes. It's not a secret door or passageway, just a back door to a backroom. The kind that servants use so as not to dirty the main entrance.

I open the door.

Right before you can open the door a huge heat wave hits you. It nearly knocks you over it is so intense. The heat begins to scald your skin. Think fast.

I jump into the moat nearby and get out right away. The water should keep me cool long enough to open the door at least.

The heat returns to bearable, it was only a heat flash. You open the door. Inside is a stairway that leads up to the throne room. It is a dusty and dirty room and has nothing worthy of mention in it. As you enter you hear a malicious laughter from above.

I try to find a different way upstairs. He would be expecting me to use a main stairway.

Alright then. You find an old ladder that leads to a closet upstairs.

I climb up it.

When you get to the top you find yourself to be in a dark closet. A broom, a bucket, and some cobwebs are what decorate the scene. The only light is a red glow radiating from under the door. Do you go in?

I peek under the crack first.

You see Angel tied up with a green rope in the corner crying. You see Drakkar floating in the air wearing elaborate clothing. A black cape drapes from his back with strands floating like tentacles at his feet. Drakkar is tall and thin, with a face to match. His yellow teeth go with his almost yellow eyes.  Diamond, Angel's sister, is laying on the floor, but something has changed. She has dark red skin, spikes coming out of her back and is now three times the size she was before. She isn't moving. Fire is coming off the walls and dark clouds are hanging in the ceiling. Drakkar is laughing while shooting spells from his hands.

I try to see if there's anything in the closet I could use against Drakkar.

There is a broom and a bucket, that's it. You should have prepared sooner.

Nah, I'll use what I've got. I grab the broom and wear the bucket as a helmet. I rush out of the door to attack Drakkar.

Drakkar turns around, a smirk is glaring at you from his greedy face. He stretches out his arm towards you. Ropes shoot from his hand and tie you up tightly and knocking your "helmet" to the floor. He cackles like a choking hyena. "It's about time you showed up. I would have thought the ex-Writer would know his way around the castle." He smiles, his yellowish teeth reek of evil. "Did you ever think that your own creation would turn against you?"

"Now do you believe me?" I say to Angel, ignoring Drakkar.

"She can't hear you. She is in a state of mental torture. That rope is enchanted to make her think that her worst fears are coming true. Is that all you have to say?"

"Nah, I've got plenty to say." I begin to slowly remove the broom from the ropes to loosen them; wiggling slightly, but not so much that he notices it.

"I'm sure you do. I bet you're wondering what I've been up to? What all this mess is about?"

"No, I really don't give a mushroom. But being a villain and all that, I know you need to give a monologue. It's in your blood." I wiggle a little more loosening my arms.

"You know me well ex-Writer. Let me start from the beginning. When I saw the old king disappear, I saw it as an opportunity. I took the genie lamp as it fell to floor and had just enough time to make a wish before it disappeared as well. I wished to be the greatest sorcerer that had ever existed. Just look at my new powers!" Blue lightning shoots from his fingertips at the burning walls. "My power is incredible. I took the throne and used this power to make it rain burning brimstone from the sky, turning it blood red, solely for the fun of it. But I could feel that there was a greater power out there. I wanted to be the Writer! So I used my power to try and turn people into genies, for I could no longer conjure them on my own. But as you can see, by the things in the street, I was unsuccessful. That's when these two girls showed up. She " he gestures to Angel. "tried to stab me. Sadly for her, I had made myself immune to mortal weapons. So I tied her up and sent her into mental torture. Then I saw this little one." he gestures to Diamond, still laying on the floor. "I saw that she had great power potential within her, so I tried to turn her into a genie. She struggled greatly, and it caused a large heat wave. In the end, I was stronger, my magic overcame her and she transformed. But even she didn't become a genie, just this strange mutation." He points at her with his long black fingernail. "I thought I was out of options, and then it hit me. Because you were the old Writer, you have massive amounts of energy potential. That's why I've been waiting for you, I'm going to try and turn you into a genie. Any last words before I make you my personal, powerful, puppet?"
